Led didn't even last a month. 1st it started flickering and then dead

Remove CANBUS load resistor
Nice finishing. Heatsink compound used. Heatsink doesnt physically touch the leds, thats a bummer. 6 leds. Non-polar. Brighter than stock bulb. Heats a lot, donno how much but burns skin. Power consumption is 2.2w @12v & light about 50x6=300 lumens. Will fit in car tomorrow.Fits in car. More light than stock. Will update if it dies.Heats too much, like stock filament bulb. if not controlled, led life wont be long & might melt solder inside & short & blow fuse. If i cant fix the heating, i'll return.Found the culprit load resistor of 240Ω. Its dissipating .6w @12v & .8w @14v... So much unnecessary heat now removed. Unit still heats a lot but rate of heating is less. Now i'll keep those units. They should technically out-live the car since they'll be little used.Final result .15A @13.2v =1.98w.If any1 is reading my review & yr car is of Volkswagen group (CANBUS), then DON'T do this mod.
