Edit*** 7/10/2017*** This finally, nearly 4 YEARS later has given up. I Loved it for my HTC, Sure the kick stand broke about 2 years ago because an idiot grabbed my phone while I was watching a movie and mashed it into the table. (thanks idiot) As far as everything else I said about this item, it was perfectly true the whole time. Now I charged it up and it seems the switch will not turn it on to charge my phone. It is fully charged it just turns on for a moment and shuts off. But it is time for a new phone anyway. 3 more months it would be 4 years old and I used it every single day. My HTC M8 still looks brand new. It may not have been a protector case but it took abuse and saved my phone more than once. Still say, best thing I ever bought for a cell phone.One of the best things I ever bought for a cell phone. Protects the back side of my phone from scuffing AND provides enough power to fully charge my phone and a little reserve left if I need it. My Droid Razrr lasted all day and into the night with no problems, so did my Droid X, my HTC however, dies by 5 pm. This is a definite must for being away from a charger all day. I have other full size battery backups but I don't always carry them with me. This is just like a case, makes my phone a little thicker but it is still thinner than most and slips into my pocket without a problem. Gives a better grip to the phone as well, HTC One M8 is quite slippery. This case with a "sacrificial" screen protector that you can get 3 for a dollar, are the way to go. I picked up a fancy screen cover for about 10 bucks and couldn't be happier.

It's a nice backup battery for when your phone dies. I like how when charging the case directly, you can press the button and it will charge your phone as a primary, and when your phone is full it will charge the case. The kickstand seems a little weak, but that's not the main focus of the case. The case also has no "bumper" on it so when you drop your phone I hope you don't have this case on like I did.Pros:~Charge your phone as a primaryCons:~Weak kickstand~No "bumper"

It gets part of the job done. Not only does it double the size of the phone, it doesn't charge it all the way. My third attempt now to charge my phone from the low 20%, and it barely makes it past the half way battery level before the jouce is out. If you're looking for something to make it just past the day, this might be the charger for you, and the price is not that bad either. Overall, it makes a great paperweight!!

I tested this unit for a week straight and i have only been able to get roughly a 50% charge from the unit.This puzzles me, if the Stock battery in the One M8 is 2600mAh, and the battery pack in the case is 3200mAh, i should be able to get at least 1 full charge. I also know there is not an even 1 to 1 ratio of charging since current is lost due to heat dissipation and conversion. However i should still get at least an 80 to 90% charge. Im wondering if maybe i got a defective unit OR if its actually rated at 2200mAh not 3200.For the price I paid its an ok unit and not worth the time to send back. I do feel that i got what i paid for in the fact that it at least gives me about half a charge, a case and kickstand.

It's a nice back battery caseCons: bulky... Heavy... The phone is not really being protected... The kick stand is weak... The blue led lights are very bright... Headphone port cannot be accessed while case is on the phone...Pros: ultimated battery back up...I'm a heavy data user and using this case really makes my phone last through the working hours...

Was tipped off to this from one of those deal of the day articles. Everything about it is spot on. Had been eyeballin battery cases like this for almost 2 years now, really glad I pulled the trigger on this one.

This battery barely brought my phone up 20%. For the added size, I would expect that it would do more than that.

I have two of these. I never run out of power anymore!
