These are nice but too tall for nightstand lamps in my situation
I got them for nightstand lamps. They are well made and modern, but, because they were so tall, it was very hard to reach the switch to turn off/on from bed so I had to return them. Would be nice in a living area though. In your room they might work though. Thanks.

Great lamp
This lamp is just what I needed. It's sturdy and attractive. The base is open so it doesn't block the person sitting to my right. My Pug has knocked my other lamps off the table. This one won't break is she does it again.

Nice Lamp but the Shade...
This is a stylish addition to my living room. The base is sturdy, lighting is good for my space. Reason for 4 stars is the shade is a cheap plastic and arrived damaged. I plan on keeping the lamp and buying a better quality shade as I really like the base.
