This is a huge jug of corn! The packaging is very sturdy and easy to handle and pour. The kernels pop well and taste very good. Even without any seasoning or butter, the popcorn feels light and satisfying. Will definitely be getting more, but it will take a long time for this to run out!

Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn tastes great. The popcorn is fluffy. I use this popcorn with an air popper. The value for the price cannot be beat. The only downside, if there is one, is that the popcorn takes up a lot of space in the pantry. This is a lot of popcorn at a price that can’t be beat. Wow! Great value, awesome taste, and reliably good product.

Much higher and more consistent percentage of the kernels pop with this than the brand I was using. I suspect that's because of better packaging. This is a thick-walled, fairly rigid container, whereas Great Value is in a plastic bag. I suspect that as a result, this retains the ideal percent moisture longer and more consistently resulting in the more consistent pop. More speculatively, I assume it is less oxygen permeable and likely to keep a hair better for that reason as well. Also, more rigidity and less flexing seem likely to result in less microplastic particles being spalled off the sides of the container. And you have a pretty nice container left over. Unless you want to pay (a lot!) for glass, packaging doesn't get better than this. I'd love to have a blue corn version this well packaged and close to being this economical. Taste great, smells great. But then, most popcorn does, so the % that pop is what really stands out. Popcorn is the economical version of escargot - a great way to eat lots of melted butter. Yum.

makes delicious popcorn! Pops well, dont have many duds. The flavor is great. Works well in my home popcorn machine. Will use this for years to come, I am brand loyal after my last purchase!

This popcorn is good but I'm not sure it's much better in taste or popping than other brands of popcorn.

Much cheaper than what size is available at any market around here. I add a bit extra vegetable oil and follow the directions for my rotating corn popper. Add the salt to it while shaking it in a brown paper bag after cooking to absorb the oil a bit. Tasty!!!

I bought a pop corn maker, along with pop corn bags for my friend who is deployed. He said it was like Christmas morning getting pop corn maker, pop corn and bags. Great value for everything. Anything for our boys deployed.

Very happy with the quantity for the price. The container is nice with more than enough hand room. As for the quality of the kernels themselves.... Very impressed with what I got. I'd say it's even better than bagged microwave popcorn. More kernels pop. They don't easily scorch (I can put it in for 3:30 without it tasting off, while bagged versions scorch around 3:20 in, with more than quarter tasting off at 3:30). There isn't much "shell" after it pops, leaving you with more of the crispy+fluffy white outer layer. It seems sweeter than other brands, which I am not used to. It's definitely pleasant, but at the same time not what I grew up with. IMO the sweetness blends very well when you add salt and butter and becomes even more addictive than if you were using another type of popcorn. It seems to hold okay with salt and butter, perhaps just a tad slippery/silkier than what I am used to, but I find the touch of it very enjoyable, way better than any kernel I ever touched. It is on the fragile side, so I haven't made caramel version with it yet, mostly out of fear of having too many crumbs. I am sure with glazes it would be fine, but I just don't have any to test it out. Overall, this is an amazing, premium product. I highly recommend giving it a try even if you are a bit hesitant of its mild sweetness as reported in other (and my) reviews. It's very slight. You only notice it because it's not the same as the popcorn you probably had +1,000 times already. I can see myself getting used to it to the point of not noticing anymore.
