Locking tweezers are really handy for many applications, and I use them in model building. These ceramic tweezers work great, hold things securely. Can be used for soldering and heated surfaces as well. Good value with an assortment of 6 different shapes and sizes too!

Whether you are a hobbyist or a professional, you should have these in your electronics toolbox! The ceramic is truly non-magnetic. Working with SMT parts using standard metal tweezers is a nightmare as caps, resistors, and other small parts can easily "cling" to metal tweezers, moving exactly where you don't want them! These put the part exactly where you move them with no fear of the part moving afterwards (which actually takes a bit of getting use to because of having the issue for so long). Thermally, these are amazing. You can hold a wire and solder will flow through the wire beneath where you are holding the wire without any temperature changes. You can't use these to try to block off or contain heat if you like to do that with your tweezers. Clean up is easy. Nothing sticks well to ceramic so some solder flux remover is all you will ever need to make these spotless. It's not often that you find a tool that is reasonably priced (or even dirt cheap like these are) that is actually worth its weight in gold, but these are one of those products.

The tweezers are very solid and grip tightly. The tips come together accurately. They are a bit thick at the tips which can be hard to use in very tight locations and the ceramic is a bit slippery when picking up small parts. I’m pretty happy overall with these.

I saw someone using these on a youtube video and decided to pick up a set. It's nice to have the versatility of clamping and non-=clamping. Also being able to use them on live circuits is a nice addition. I'm glad I bought them.

I needed these to help hold wires while I soldered them. It's like having an extra hand.

overall the tweezers work fine. But if you are trying to hold something thin, like a piece of paper, it won't work, or if you try to hold something small and round, like a wire, it will not work well. The "flat" part of the ceramic tips are curved outward a bit so when you pinch them together, the very tip of the tweezers don't touch. They are just not high build quality.
