I am very happy with this part. I read a lot of bad reviews on it. This part does not hinge. It presses into the opening and it is held in tightly. To remove the cover, I have to pull rather hard on it to remove it. This is a good thing because I know it will not fall off when driving down the road. It works with the stock or aftermarket radio. It If you need constant access to your radio buttons, then this cover may not be for you because you would need to pull it off and then put it back on. I installed a Kenwood bluetooth radio so I control the radio via my phone and hand controls on my Ultra so I rarely have to access to radio buttons. This covers give me a piece of mind knowing my Kenwood radio is not going to get ruined when it rains or when I wash the bike. I did not install a marine grade radio because they are very expensive. I bought a very nice Kenwood for $189 and bought this cover so I saved a ton of money. This cover even says Harley Davidson on the front. You cant beat the price. Great part.

Awesome direct fit for HD
Direct fit for HD regardless of aftermarket radio or stock. Made to fit fairing trim not radio trim... Also pluss that it says Harley Davison

Good enough fit to keep water out of the stereo when washing the bike, not good enough to ride with.
This is a sturdy piece of plastic with a substantial O-ring to hold it in place, but it does not fit the radio cavity in my stock 2009 FLHTCU inner fairing. If you're looking for something to keep the water out of your stereo when washing your bike, this will work; if you're looking for a stereo splash cover to keep on your bike when riding, this isn't it.That being said, I'm keeping it to keep my stereo dry when washing the bike, even though it's a "marine" stereo.

This fits my 2013 street glide perfect...I wasn't sure if it would based on some of the reviews but it is exactly what I needed...
