Andalucia, in the luminous South of Spain, is blessed witha privileged soil and climate for the cultivation of olive trees. already in the first century A.D., Lucio Julio Moderato COLUMELA, an Andalucian sage and agriculturist settled in rome, tells, us, in his treatise on agricultutre, called De Re Rustica" about the olivegroves in "The Betica" (Andalucia) and the fabrication methods used to produce high quality olive oil which he calls "oil of green olives'. Today, twenty centuries later, his learned advice, which lives on in the traditional methods, combined with advanced modern technology, permits us to offer the Columela extra virgin olive oil, true juice of the natural fruit.

Best Ever!
We absolutely love this EVOO. I first purchased it because America's Test Kitchen recommended it. And I've purchased it several times since. It tastes really delicious. We do not use it to cook with...saute, fry. We use another brand that is not extra-virgin for high heat cooking. Highly recommend it.

Great tasting Olive Oil.
Best olive oil and my favorite! I usually buy it every time it goes on sale. It makes salad, fish and anything else you want to use it for much tastier.
