Justice League: The New 52 Omnibus Vol. 2

Over that last year, I've really gotten into DC comics, Justice League, Swamp Thing and Aquaman soo far. This New 52 Justice League is phenomenal, Geoff Johns is outstanding. I highly recommend this Justice League run and his Aquaman run.

Ok, so the story is not the best and it definitely lags in places but the thing that really did it for me is this. There's a part where a character references 'gorging someone's eyes out ' sic. Now as any 13 year old knows the word gorge means to stuff yourself, to eat greedily. Obviously they are trying to say gauge someone's eyes out. This has gone through writing, gone through multiple proofreadings, been through sub editors, series editors and even separate omnibus edition plus all other variations and every time this child like mistake makes it through.I do enjoy comics and there are great examples, Sandman, Y the Last Man, 100 Bullets, Kill Or Be Killed. These are comic books I do recommend.Happy reading.
