As someone who's battled acne on my chest and back for years, I've tried countless body washes claiming to help, often with disappointing results or harsh side effects. This Cetaphil Body Wash has been a game-changer in my skincare routine, and I couldn't be happier with the results! First off, the generous bottle size is fantastic; you get a lot of product, which means it lasts a long while, making it an excellent value. But beyond the quantity, it's the quality. Within just a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed a significant reduction in breakouts on my chest and back. My skin started to look much clearer and felt noticeably smoother. What sets this body wash apart for me is its gentleness. Most acne treatments tend to be drying or irritating, especially on sensitive skin. Because this felt so mild on my body, I decided to take a chance and try it on my face, and I'm so glad I did! It didn't strip my skin or leave it feeling tight and dry at all. Instead, it helped calm existing breakouts and prevent new ones, resulting in a much clearer and healthier-looking complexion overall. Dislike: does not lather. Greasy feeling and does not rinse off easily. Like: fragrance free, and leaves your skin feeling soft. This will function as a face wash for me because it has drawn a lot of dirt out of my pores. It is a large bottle but I feel like I have to use a bunch in order to wash my whole body. This cleanser is great for dry skin, but will not wash oil off well. In fact, it is super greasy and difficult to rinse off completely. (possibly by design) It does not lather at all. I understand some are sensitive to sls, but there are other natural lathering agents that don't irritate sensitive skin. Overall it's a good cleanser. It's just not a body wash for me.

I really like how gentle this cleanser is. It takes off all the days dirt without making my skin feel tight or dry. I just feel fresh and smooth after using it.

Cannot really tell if it does work yet, but won’t buy again for it smells not bad but not pleasant, and its consistency is very solid for a body wash. Tried to water it down a little, but is just not worth it. Better to just pay more per ounce for an another product.

I've struggled with body acne my whole teen and adult life. This body wash is the only thing I've found that works to reduce the amount and duration of breakouts! It doesn't lather, so I just pump in into my hands and rub into the affected areas. Definitely recommend!

I hated this product at first. It doesn't lather. The description is misleading in calling it a body wash. For its intended use, it kinda sucks. However, this is the lowest cost/oz for a 2% salicylic acid (SA) product that I've come across, so I tried to think of other ways of using it. Turns out... 1) Makes a GREAT 1st step in a double cleanse for makeup removal. Provides gentle short-contact SA exfoliation. (It can sting around eyes so use caution). 2) Makes an AMAZING leg shave cream. Same idea with gentle short-contact SA exfoliation. 3) Makes a TERRIFIC foot mask. Same idea. For how well this product works for these unintended uses, at such a low price point for 2% SA, I give it 5 stars.

Honestly, the bottle will last you awhile for the price you are paying. It’s a great deal. Though, most importantly, it does help with my back-acne. In the summer especially and with fragrance body washes, my back gets really oily. So I found that using this and then scrubbing with fragrance soap stops the oily feeling !!! Though, some negatives are that it feels and looks almost like a lotion, it doesn’t foam at all. I don’t know, but I have to use a good amount to just wash my back. It also has a pretty strong and not so nice odor, that’s why I use a scented body wash after. It just smells like chemically??? I don’t know, but that’s the reason I dropped a star, it really doesn’t smell good.

Hace bien su función, me gustó que no reseca, por lo regular los limpiadores con acido salicilico dejan la piel muy reseca y tirante y este no lo hace. Tiene buena textura y rinde muy bien, no me causó ninguna reacción desfavorable o alergia. Bueno para casos leves, o evitar brotes en la espalda (por sudor, gimnasio, productos de cabello, etc) para casos severos supongo no será el mismo efecto.

quantity is nice, i don’t have the problem that everyone is complaining about, it’s not hard to keep track where the product is on. make sure to keep it on for 5 minutes before washing. still relatively new to it only two weeks but still noticeable skin smoothness.
