Great Tool and Even Better Customer Service
I purchased this and was testing it on some 48F armoured fiber. Once calibrated it worked absolutely flawlessly. Removing the armor was such a pain in the rear before I got this as the buffer tube was really weak. I attempted to do a ring cut and damaged the blade on the strength member. I contacted Jonard and they sent a replacement at no cost! As long as you don't cross the strength member on a ring cut this thing is awesome. Jonard has a loyal customer after this experience!

Don't let the negative discourage you
Can't teach an old dog new tricks. I've used them all and this is hands down the easiest and highest quality tool in its class. If they have anything negative to say about it they just don't have the mind or patience to learn how to use the extra knob on the tool. Yes the cheaper ones work, but I can hand this to a zero experience new guy and have him doing midspan breakouts before the coffee is made.

Slow at first but once you get the hang of it there's no going back.
I got this because the normal spiral ring and slit tool irritated me. It took me a few weeks to figure out all the tricks but after that I really got the hang of it I saved about 15-20 minutes a build. It doesnt seem like much but when working for production pay thats a lifetime. This thing is a workhorse too I've been using it for almost a year and am just now buying replacement blades.

1 trick pony hard to use -
Ugh. Slow to load or switch function. Requires long hand screw process to load or switch cut direction. Not something you want to try to use for production. Returned
