Been fitted about 2 weeks, and so far so good.The ease of not fumbling around for a key to unlock a door is a load easier and better. Just means your prisoners can easily escape.Easy to fit. You may need to cut down the securing screw. As each door can be different. A hacksaw grinder or hobby tool will do this, or do what I did and use the old screw.To fit, remove securing screw from the edge of the door, parallel to the lock, with keeping the key in. Gently wiggle out, and turn the key slightly to align the lock so it will slide out. To fit, do the afore mentioned in reverse. Insert the securing screw, and line up by feel to the lock. Screw in, but do not over tighten.Keys on mine work well. Only thing I'd have wished for is an option to get more keys like some other suppliers.Sizes are really confusing, as they differ from other suppliers, but, Thumb turn measurement is first on the sizes. Inside to outside.Overall, good lock so far. I was so happy, I ordered another for the back door.

Bought the 40x50 which is 40 internal (thumb turn side) and 50 external. Fit smoothly, looks great and 3 keys perfect! No 4 stars for easy fit because screw was too long however I used the screw from the previous lock as they're all the same thread. Thumb turn is very convenient and safe (fire wise).

Wish I had known about these years ago. Easy to install, held by one screw, may have to take a handle off, measure size of old one before ordering as mounting screw on some doors are off centre. No messing with keys, only downside is if someone broke through they can easily open door, but I used to leave key in lock at night anyway, so no difference for me.

Easy to fit and use. Installed it in my Mum's door. She has arthritis in her hands and having the thumbturn makes it much easier for her to lock/ unlock. It also means that the family can unlock the door without worrying about the key being left in the back.

Easy to fit and does the job it is designed for, no looking for keys when someone comes to door, no leaving key in the lock so other householders cannot get in.
