After our old popcorn maker broke my husband searched on Amazon for a new one and found this. I was skeptical, even after reading all the great reviews. I honestly didn’t think it could possibly be that good. When it arrived, the bowl was smaller than I had expected. I was ready to laugh at my husband when he made the first batch because I was so sure it wouldn’t turn out. Boy was I surprised! The unit comes with some simple recipes and when we made it with oil and salt, it turned out like movie popcorn—only better, faster, easier and cheaper! We ordered 2 bowls (so glad we did), one for him and one for me. One full bowl is perfect for a popcorn lover. We’ve used this many times now and I’m a total convert. I can’t imagine making popcorn any other way after using the AAVOO Microwave Popcorn Popper. Highly recommended! (And apologies to my husband for doubting him! LOL)

Not sure how I feel about this. Tried one of the recipes and things went belly-up, burnt kernals galore! Given I tried something with sugar, after several washings, it STILL smells like sugar, which could be a good thing, but I'm kind of worried about it attracting bugs..?

A hot air popcorn popper in my house is not a luxury but it is a necessity as I have 4 kids and they like a healthy popcorn while watching their favorite TV program or playing games.I was considering certain factors before purchasing a popcorn popper. The prices of a popcorn machines ranges from several hundred to thousands of dollars.My budget was the primary consideration while purchasing this popcorn machine. I am very happy with this purchase.The bowl allows me to microwave popcorn easily, conveniently and quickly.The handle helps to take the bucket out of the microwave more conveniently so my kids themselves can make some crunchy, crispy popcorn.It leaves some unpopped kernels but I do not think that it is a problem. The bowl is easy to clean.Convenient collapsible design allows easy storage.I recommend.

It's a great thing. If you like popcorn without oil or butter, this thing's all you need. This Popcorn Popper from AAVOO's really good. It does its job extremely well. I like its shape, it doesn't need too much space for keeping. It also doesn't smell, it's very important!First time I cooked popcorn in this popper I burnt it all, but it isn't fault of popper I just didn't know power of my microwave. Right now I'm a Pro ofmicrowave popcorn, nobody does it better.I like this popper and ordered one more for my granny, I know she likes popcorn and she needs healthy food more than me.Perfect quality and cheap price, this popper really worth its money!

The silicone bowl collapses and the lid fits only half way down. Perhaps if there was more room for the kernels to pop, they would pop larger; however they don't. At least they did not for me and all of the kernels did not pop and yes I did use the measuring spoon. I would try a bowl that does not collapse

This is an updated review since I bought a second one for my son. I have had two Whirly Pops and they are ok but IMPOSSIBLE to clean.I bought a West Bend it was actually my favorite for about 3 months until it died :(I now have this one down to a science and LOVE IT. Couple tbl of oil, one scoop of popcorn, salt, and some shaved pieces of garlic butter. Italian Rose Garlic Butter Spread (Pack of 2) 4 oz Tubs I put everything in the popper and put popper on 2:22 and stop the popper when I hear it slow down. All done no drizzling butter and sprinkling salt. Easy Peasy

Great product. Comes with instructions a measuring scoop, lid and recipe ideas. Washed and dried it before first use the made a batch with just one scoop of popcorn and nothing else. Microwaved for 2 minutes and it turned out really good. Made a second batch with one scoop kernels one tablespoon oil and some salt. Microwaved 2 minutes. there were a few more un-popped Kernels so maybe it needs another 20 to 30 seconds when using oil. Very pleased with this microwave popcorn popper, it will get lots of use. I don't plan to put it in the dishwasher.
