I love the puffy crisp bananas I tried in the fruit sample packs, so I bought the larger pack expecting the same product. As another customer stated, these are NOT the same as in the sampler.These banana chips are about half the thickness of the ones in the sampler packs, and the quality varies.I have ordered this size of banana chips a few times now, and each bag has been different from the next. The first bag I bought was not crisp or very puffy at all, slightly chewy normal tasting banana chip. However, they tasted wonderful, and have zero additives and no allergens, so I ordered them again.The second bag I bought is crisp, puffy (but still smaller sized than the sampler bananas), and has the same good flavor. I haven't opened the third bag yet, but the bananas look similar to the quality of those in the second bag.So far, even with the varied consistency of product, I'm enjoying these fruit chips. They taste good, don't upset my stomache (as some with additives do), don't cause any allergic reactions ('cause there's just nanners in there), and there is very little fruit bits or powder in the bottom of the bag- no wasted product.I've also found these bananas are the perfect bedtime snack for me. They satisfy my sweets craving at night and actually seem to calm my restlessness making for a better nights sleep.

These are my favorite strawberries, and I’ve tried several popular brands. :) These are delicious, light, crispy, crunchy, sweet... everything you could want in a freeze-dried strawberry. I eat a lot of Honey Bunches of Oats with Strawberries cereal, and they have the WORST strawberries (they were great several years ago), so I’ve bought hundreds of bags of Just Strawberries over the years to replace the bad strawberries in POST’s cereal. Just Strawberries are almost always perfect quality. I did get a batch of chewy ones several years ago, but the company kindly replaced them at no charge and didn’t make me send the old ones back. I’m actually having a problem with them again right now, but this time they do want me to ship the 10 small bags back to them, on my dime. I understand, but I’m just worried that they’ll send me the same poor quality if I send these back. Despite me sending them photos of the strawberries not being up to their usual standards, they don’t seem convinced that there’s a problem, so I’m wondering if they’ve simply lowered their standards. They did change their name, so maybe they’re under new (cheaper) management. I don’t know, and I wish I did. I buy them in bulk, so it was June 2016 the last time I ordered. I hope they haven’t lowered their quality.I’ll try to remember to come back and update this to let you know how things turned out.

I like the Just Tomatoes products and find that my son enjoys the strawberries. I would say is that because they are freeze-dried they are little spongy and so when they become slightly stale they'll become chewy. The bag size is is very adequate and the seal on it works well, my 4 year old son can even seal it. Like a lot of the Just Tomatoes fruit products there is going to be some of the leftover powder or crumbs at the bottom of the bag and they're very fine. Just a word of caution you don't want your little one digging a hand in the bottom of it or dumping it upside down because it will take some time to clean if it's in a carpeted or clothed area. Lastly I will say that these can occasionally be a little bit more tart that is sweet. I use these in lunch bags and for day trips. The strawberries are a good size so that my 4 year old can feed himself easily when given a container (or bag) of them.

I got these to put in frosting, as freeze-dried fruit is not easy to find in my local stores. They're slightly pricier than getting anything similar in stores, but for the sake of convenience this is a fairly decent deal. I really like that it has no preservatives or anything else, and although I've never cared for eating freeze dried fruit, my daughter has been eating them since babyhood & loves it. There was a bit of powder in the bottom of the bag, but since I intended to pulverize them anyway that was just an added bonus, or it would've gone great in my smoothies. I mainly use it in baking, and the flavor is fantastic-- I made a strawberry frosting with these & everyone commented on how fresh the berry flavor was. I'm quite pleased with this and will probably be stocking up on other berries in this brand for a variety in flavor & colors. It's the only way I incorporate fruit in frosting now, as it's so much easier than having to boil down fruit or deal with frosting being too liquid, etc.-- not to mention that it's a great way to color your food naturally.

Too expensive for such a small bag, 1.5oz and inside the strawberries in the form of small chips ... (((

Hey, these are good!Ok, I wasn't terribly surprised by how good these are: I love freeze-dried fruit, I love blueberries, and I've never detected an "off" taste in Just Tomatoes products. Some freeze-dried fruit smells and tastes like a factory for some reason, and seems to be a brand-specific problem.These are nicely crunchy and nicely flavorful, but have a tamer flavor than some other dried food. They taste a little cooked: like homemade blueberry jam, actually, which is what I pretended I was eating.There are only 2 servings in the nice big pouch, even though it felt more like 8. I love that it's hard to over-indulge on these.They stain my fingers! I was surprised that berries without juice can do that, but these do!They're a little smaller than Kix pieces. I did get one bad or burnt one in the whole bag (I didn't spit it out to check, sorry!), but unless I find more in subsequent orders, I wouldn't worry about it too much.Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
