This listing is for a True Vintage Downton Abbey 1920s style clear pave rhinestone headband vine made from a gorgeous vintage Art Deco necklace. The style of this one reminds me so much of a headband worn by Lady Rose. The jeweled part of the headband features stylized leaves that are completely encrusted in clear sparkly crystals and measures 1/2 inches wide and 12 inches long. I've added vintage double sided organza and satin ribbon ties for a total length of 38 inches. (I've left the ties long but they can be trimmed down if desired.) The gorgeous ribbon can be tucked under the hair or worn on top. I've used rings were the ties are connected to the necklace to insert hair pins for added security. The circa 1940's - 1950's high-end necklace used on this headband is in excellent vintage condition with all rhinestones present and brilliant and no wear to the silver rhodium plating. I absolutely LOVE how this one turned out! Photos are not capturing the sparkle nor beauty of this piece adequately. They truly don't make jewelry like this anymore. Why settle for vintage "inspired" when you can have a true vintage headband? This would be lovely worn on the forehead or further back into the hair line as Lady Rose wore hers.
