What You Weren't Taught in Sunday School

I was drawn by the title and even enjoyed the first few chapters. Then it turned into a plug for Islam. The author should have stayed with the informative approach but his own beliefs got in the way. Be aware and proceed at your own risk.

This is the type of book everyone of a particular faith should read about their own religious history. Too often people take partial teachings and statements "on faith" without much understanding of the background and available evidences. When considering religious faith and practices, one should always look at what is acceptable to God, and is the path I am on going to get me to my goal. There should always be an evidence, and there should always be truth in the message. I can understand now why many priests and laymen can turn their back on Christianity.

Great eye opening book - most Christians don't know the stuff mentioned in this book. And it is from someone of authority in the subject matter.

An excellent reference for those interested in understanding faith history.
