This is my second time to buy the Bally slimmer belt. I literally wore the first one until the velcro didn't stick and it was falling apart, which took a few years. I wear this for workouts and walks. I'm 5'4" and about 130 pounds, so my stomach isn't huge, but I'm getting that mid life muffin top. Also, I'm not a big "sweater" in the gym. This belt reminds me to tighten my core, supports my back a bit while lifting, and certainly makes me sweat a LOT. My shorts are soaked and water is dripping from the belt when I remove it, so I can only assume it's helping me sweat out toxins and burn a few more calories. As for weight loss, I have not noticed a thing.
