Wind Turbine Experiment
I bought this to try out for a backyard engineering wind turbine. Spinning with my finders it was producing 3.6 volts, so I connected to the power drill and going about half speed I was able to produce 36 volts. You need about 13 volts to charge a 12 volt deep cycle battery, so this motor should hopefully generate what I need once I build out the rest of the design. Free electricity!

It's a DC generator.
Bought 5, used the drill test method got 13.5~14 vdc no load at full speed on black and Decker drill. Good luck 🍀

DOA Sadly
I think they need to review thier product shipment procedure.I hate to give a bad review, but l first thought I had received free extra motor brushes. But no, the brush wire/cap had been shattered during shipment/handling, rendering the unit broken and useless.

It works
Weak amperage. Only good for lighting. Best way to turn it is with a small electric motor and a 12 volt battery which has way more amperage. Furthermore if you have 12 volts why do you need 12 volts?
