GracoSnugRide SnugLock DLX Infant Car Seat Base, Black, One Size

There is nothing I dislike about this base. It is very easy to install, and there is no better base on the market. There are many snug ride snug lock bases, but this DLX base is by far superior to any other. It works with all Graco car seats, and have that front impact protection for my baby girl makes a little bit of extra money worth it. My wife and I have had to take out the base a few times now and it’s always very easy to put back. We have two of them one for each car, one came with the stroller that we bought and we bought the other one obviously here on Amazon, and we have not been disappointed. Very worth the money.

My daughter found this Graco car seat base for me. I will be putting this into my car so that when my grandchild will be riding in my car we will be able to very easily put the car seat into my car. I do not have to buy my own car seat and that is wonderful since car seats are expensive. This matches the car seat that that my kids will have in their car. I am sure it will be fast and easy to use! Thank you for selling the base alone so I did not have to buy the entire car seat.

Pros: Easy to install. Modern vehicles have anchors buried between the cushions in the back seat, so you don't have to fool with seatbelts, but you CAN still use a seatbelt to install this product if necessary. Carseat snaps into place very securely with an audible "click" that lets you know it's secure.Cons: Removal of this product... Once you know what you're doing it's easy, but I was cussing at this thing because I needed to remove it to place a mat underneath, and I couldn't get the blasted strap loose. There's a button that you squeeze, and if you tighten the strap super tight like I did, you can't squeeze this button by hand. Or at least I couldn't (6'3" 270lb fairly strong male speaking here...) I had to get a pair of pliers. The strap released without issue upon using pliers, so this isn't even enough to remove a star, in my book. The extreme safety I felt when I installed these trumps the strap being stubborn on my first attempt at removal.Other Thoughts: Purchased this to replace the SnugRide Classic connect that we purchase accidentally. (Our stroller was compatible with BOTH Click and Classic connect, and lead us to mistakenly believe the carseat bases were universal as well.)Technically you DON'T need this base. Most carseats have the option of still being secured with a seatbelt, and the SnugRide Click connect definitely is one of those. This product makes putting baby in and taking baby out of the car INCREDIBLY easy, and I would recommend that everyone purchase one of these for every vehicle.Also, keep in mind that until products are used multiple times (broken in) some things could feel "stiff". I surmise that my difficulty in depressing the button to release the strap that holds this product securely to the seat in the back was a result of how tight I made the strap, and due to the fact that the button had never been used, and was "sticky".

It's just a car seat base, so if it fits your Graco model, that's all you need to know (we have the Click Connect 35 LX and it does, just FYI). But what we discovered is that this base is actually much better than the one that comes with the car seat. We had our car seats inspected by the California Highway Patrol, and the officer really struggled with the base that came with the car seat. On that one, there's a metal piece to hold the seatbelt when you don't use the latch system, and it's a ROYAL PAIN! This strong, sizable CHP officer sat on the seat base and pulled the seatbelt with all his might and tried to hook the metal piece to it, and after trying three times, he still couldn't get it tight enough. With THIS base, there's a red locking piece above the red knob there that locks the seatbelt (if you use it instead of latch), and with that one, you can easily tighten the belt and lock it in to hold the base tight.It's so much better/easier/more effective that we called Graco and are sending back our original base and getting a refund so we can buy another one of these!

When purchasing a Graco stroller set from my son and daughter in laws baby registry here on Amazon, I saw a recommend by Amazon to purchase this along with the other set.I'm so thankful that Amazon suggested buying this along with the stroller combo! It all belongs together and is amazing quaility too!This is something that will last them many years. We've tested it all out (without the baby, due in March) and we are just thrilled with how well it all works together!Highly recommend this and so glad it popped up that Amazon recommend it! It was a Great purchase idea!When the baby comes I'll have to come back and add some pictures! It's a Must have!!

We have FOUR of these! As a former nanny, I know how much of a pain it can be taking a base out of a car and transferring it to another vehicle so with my first child, I was determinted to NOT let that happen. Our first base came with the car seat. The second base was registered for at Target but they were $60 each. I am so glad I looked up how much the amazon price was. We then bought two from amazon and theyve gone in our other vehicle and my mom's car. The fourth base belonged to my sister and we gave it to our son's other grandparent. They are super easy to secure into the car and make the whole process so hassle free! Now everyone who could possibly ever need to pick up my son is good to go!

Love this we lost our second base we had and bought this just in case was skeptical after reading reviews. We have the snugride30XL and the click connect 35 and it fit this base perfectly it unlatched with no issues and was and over all wonderful purchase last minute!!! Would recommend this but read what it's compatible with from trying our other Graco it seemed to work just fine as well!! It displayed manufactor details and dates on box before opening and the 6 position dial adjustment is awesome new to us but neat. Highly recommend to buy this!!
