Non drying and smells lightly floral (love!) - and so easy to remove waterproof eyeliner!
This review is for: HERA Gentle Cleansing Oil, Soothing and Moisturizing Makeup Removal for Dry, Sensitive Skin by Amorepacific, 6.76 FL OZThis cleansing oil smells amazing!! I love the light floral scent and it makes my face washing that much more pleasant. It comes with a separate pump that you could use to apply or you can simply just use it by peeling back a little bit the lid so that it doesn’t pour out that much.I love that it it is so gentle on my eyelids, and all I need to do is pour a tiny bit and it removes my waterproof eyeliner so easily! It also did not irritate my eyes in case a little bit got into my eyes compared to the one I currently have which always stings a little bit. I love this about this particular cleansing oil! My face felt clean but not dry nor irritated.Although this is Korean brand, it did, in fact, have the ingredients listed in English, which I will share here in the photo. Ps. It does contain coconut oil as well as fragrance and the LACTOBACILLUS FERMENT to make it true to its advertised PROBIOTICS.

Lovely, light-weight oil, cleans effectively & rinses clean w/o drying (ingredient list needed)
This is a lovely, very light-weight cleansing oil with a pleasant fresh scent (it is a light citrus with a hint of a floral undertone -- not at all overpowering and definitely not predominantly tea tree as the product description suggests). The oil is a very low viscosity and it goes on easily and forms a light lather that works well to dissolve my sunscreen (I don't wear make-up very often). It rinses away clean and doesn't cause irritation or dry out my already sensitive and parched skin. The description mentions that this product contains green tea derived probiotics, products of microbial fermentation but doesn't show the full list of ingredients. It does a good job of showing what is NOT in this oil but I still want the specifics of what is in it. I really don't understand why brands fail to provide this information when so many customers with sensitivities or allergies need to know this before placing an order. No problem, I figured -- I'll just go to the brand's website. A very nice website, but no list of all ingredients. Well, when it arrives, it will probably be on the box or bottle, right? There is a teeny-tiny white sticker about 1.5" X 1.5" that lists the ingredients in print way too small for me to even be able to make it out. There is also a rather lengthy insert inside of the box that highlights several of Hera's products including this one, and it does show the ingredients, but I would need a pretty strong magnifying glass to read it. The cleansing oil is a little pricey, but I don't need to apply very much to clean my face and neck. It is housed in a nice plastic bottle and the pump is packaged separately. The product arrived very nicely boxed and sealed.

Gentle Cleansing Oil
I have oily skin and I was a bit skeptical if this would work for me or if it would break me out terribly. This arrived quickly, and the pump was packaged separately from the bottle which I definitely appreciated since I’ve had my fair share of receiving busted pump bottles in the past from other places! The bottle also had a seal on the cap, which was even better! I spread a thin layer on my face, massaging my makeup and skincare products away before adding some water to it. It smells a bit like baby shampoo, which is nice and it isn’t overpowering in the slightest. It lathers very well once water is added, and doesn’t feel oily. It washed off easily, and I will say my skin felt clean but not stripped of moisture like other cleansers leave your skin. I really like this, I’ll definitely be using it in the shower!

too oily for my liking...
I've been using the target oil free eye makeup remover ($3.99, it's the store brand of netrogena). This Hera cleansing oil is similar, but the Hera is much oilier. I follow up with washing my face and the residue is removed, but I am still not liking the excess oily feel while removing my makeup. I use 1-2 pumps on a small cotton round for each eye and it takes about 2 minutes to gently remove my Tarte eyeliner and mascara (neither are waterproof). I don't use this all over my face since I only wear a small amount of powder and blush, this is definitely all gone by the end of the day!The scent is lovely - fresh and not overpowering. The pump makes it super easy to use.It does a comparable job at removing my eye makeup, but the price of $44 is staggeringly different. Maybe this product is over my head, but it just seems too oily for my liking.HERA Gentle Cleansing Oil, Soothing and Moisturizing Makeup Removal for Dry, Sensitive Skin by Amorepacific, 6.76 FL OZ
