High-Quality Wet Cat Food with Balanced Nutrition
Hill’s Science Diet Adult 1-6 wet cat food has been a staple for my cat’s diet. The Liver & Chicken Minced formula offers a great balance of taste and nutrition. My cat, who can be a bit picky, devours it without hesitation. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and it’s reassuring to know that it provides the right nutrients for adult cats. The texture is smooth and easy for my cat to eat, and I’ve noticed her coat is shinier and overall energy levels have improved since switching to this food. The 5.5 oz can size is convenient, and the packaging in a case of 24 ensures we are well-stocked for a while. It’s definitely a premium option, but well worth it for the health benefits it delivers.

No dented cans this time = good value.
This flavor and the turkey/liver are the only 2 wet foods my cat will eat. She stays healthy and her coat/skin look great. The cat food is more pate than minced. There are no 'chunks' in it. It was a good value on Prime Day, although it is one of the higher priced wet food options on the market. There have been issues in the past with many dented or leaking cans even though the 24 cans were packed securely. This led to a lot of waste of money and of product. The case Amazon truck delivered yesterday had no dented cans. The expiration date is in 2025. Happy me, happy cat. I am waiting 2nd delivery of the turkey/liver flavor in 2 days and am cautiously hopeful.

My cat loves it
I have a super picky cat when it comes to wet food, I've tried nearly every brand in a variety of flavors and textures but she turns her nose up at everything, except these. She loves both the pate and morsel kinds of science diet!

Great food if you get the right batch
My cat with urinary crystal issues loves this food and it is almost as balanced in nutrients as the prescription food. It helps with his water intake since he will eat most of a can and it has a runny consistency. Unfortunately the consistency varies by batch. He wouldn't really eat the food from certain cases and the texture is obviously different than the other cases (less runny). Since the shipment prior to this had a later expiration date (3/2017) and my cat liked those cases I thought it was safe to order more than one case this past time to avoid the expiration date he didn't like but, I received the older lot expiration date (12/2016). Since it is all he will eat I guess I have to buy one at a time until they are past this particular date of cases or get it from the store until they are past sending out this particular date of food. The store has 5/2017 date and the food is like the original food my cat liked so it seems the 12/2016 lot is an odd bad batch. So it might be worth a try again down the road for your cat if they didn't like the first batch. I wish it was possible to request skipping over a certain date of cases since I know they will be going into the donation box. Also as the other reviewer mentioned the shipping is a problem and I have to throw out about 2 of the corner cans per 24 pack because they are dented and leaking everywhere. Some are sneaky leaks you don't notice until they start to smell horrible and go in search of the smell. Maybe shipper should use bubble wrap or something or smaller box. Still cheaper than at the store even minus 2 cans per case.

Healthy cat food
I was recently having a hard time finding any cat food that my cats seemed to like, so I was trying different varieties. I had mostly been usng Purina Fancy Feast, which has a lot of flavors, but one of my two cats is a very fussy eater, and the other usually will eat as much as I give him, but lately was being fussy as well. The usually non-fussy one had also been experiencing a great deal of hair loss. We thought it was a flea allergy, but the standard flea treatment seemed to make it worse. Then on a whim I decided to try Hill's Science Diet. It wasn't appetizing-looking -- a smooth pate look -- but my cats loved it, especially the big guy. After a few weeks I noticed his hair was growing back, a benefit I hadn't anticipated! He still really loves it, and the fussy eater will eat it, although not as enthusiastically. And after several months, even though we're now at the height of flea season, his coat is full and glossy and he doesn't appear to be itching very much. (I do give him an internal tablet for fleas, since he doesn't tolerate the external treatment well.) But I credit Science Diet for bringing back his full coat. It appears to be excellent nutrition for cats, and he likes to eat it.

My cat is worth it
The price is a bit steep, but I know that Science Diet is recommended by vets. That makes me feel good about feeding to my cat. They used this at the animal shelter where we adopted her, and we wanted to maintain the same diet as she transitioned into our home.Since I also feed dry food, my cat doesn't eat a full can at one time. I tried another brand, sold in our grocery stores, that has smaller portions. That other product is a perfect amount, but the packaging makes it almost impossible to open.I was able to buy a plastic lid here on Amazon that has the ability to seal different sizes of cans, solving the issue of wasted food.We highly recommend it for your cat!

This is PATE not minced
If your cat does not like pate, do not buy this. Despite the good quality of the brand, i have to say that I find dishonest to advertised this product as MINCED when I do not see any minced pieces of meat in the cans. All I see is PATE, like a puree and unfortunately my cat does not like PATE at all, I wish I could have known this.
