Bought this. Bottomless portafilter to work with the cheap espresso machine that I bought on Amazon as well. This filter works much better than the pressurized filter that came with my machine. I'm very happy with its functionality and the shots that I pull from it. The build quality feels solid. The price point is good. I have no issues with it leaking. I'm very happy.

I highly recommend this product for anyone who has medium experience in espresso making, the quilty build is very high compared to its price, only use it twice till now, but I liked what I have bought.

So I got this bottomless portafilter to improve the results on my Delonghi Dedica espresso machine. The unit looks very nice and fits well however my current grinder ( a Baratza Encore) was not able to produce a fine or uniform enough product to work - no crema and weak tasting espresso. Next I bought a better tamper ( Delonghi metal with wood handle) and a new grinder ( Baratza Sette 30) and am finally getting good results from the bottomless portafilter. The size of the included portafilter basket is for a double shot and holds 15-17 grams of coffee. It would be nice if a single shot basket was included holding 12-14 grams as well. All in all a very good product but be warned that you may need to upgrade your grinder, tamper and maybe even your machine after you buy this device to get really good results.
