HAYWARD, PENTAIR, Vac Lock, Vac Port Replacement W400BWHP, GW9530, VLK15T01 MADE IN THE USA -AquaStar's safety vacuumlock wall fitting has been tested and listed by IAPMO per IAPMO SPS4 and NSF 50 Standarts. -Do not alter in anyway. When in need of repair, replace the whole unit. -Install as follows: 1. Add silicone sealant to 1 1/2" male threads and hand turn into 1 1/2" female thread wall fitting already installed in the pool. This fitting will be connected to the suction side of the plumbing systemwith a 3-away or ball valve at the equipment to adjust the flow rate. 2. Thread into wall fitting as far as you can AND with the "arrow marking" pointing up. the spring will be on top. 3. Anchor set screw. 4. Use screwdriver to open flap and then insert vacuum/pool cleaner hose. "Clip" inside flap will help hold vacuum/pool cleaner hose to wall fitting when pump is turned off. 5. When not in use make sure cover flap has been snapped firmly in place. 6. NEVER operate a pool/spa with an uncovered suction outlet or vacuum port.
