This is well made and designed strengthener for hand and fingers. Mostly for improving strength and dexterity for playing guitar and other string instruments. The bottom bar has a textured finish which makes slipping away from the thumb nearly impossible. Takes a bit of practice to get the technique but when you get there, you will feel the benefits fairly soon.

The adjustment from 4-7 pounds is not even noticeable. In fact I don’t think it even works. However I needed to strengthen my pinky finger specifically for guitar after a serious injury some years ago so this works as a rehab device for me. It does just that and that’s all that matters. I only have four stars because the adjustment is not noticeable at all.

I exercise with this little gadget on my left side. My thing is a stronger because I have a trigger finger and I just didn’t have to get an injection because I exercise with this little gadget. It was really good.

This is good for pianists, especially during travel, it can keep your fingers moving & strengthened. Pushing the exerciser has more resistance than the action of a really good piano. You can exercise all fingers together or one at a time or in intervalic patterns (2 & 4; 3 & 5; etc).

It's ok. Does what it is supposed to do, but the build quality is questionable.

I place the bass guitar and find this device great for practicing finger independence. The tension is quite high (even for a man) and it may be used for increasing finger strength for rock climbing etc. Also a good stress reliever.
