1 germinated, then died
These have had two months on a south facing windowsill. 15 seeds supplied, of which one briefly tried to grow, then somehow vanished in the night. The soil is now starting to turn green with algae...Will give it another few weeks and update this review if anything grows, but I'm not hopeful.

They Grew, but
Only got the sempervivum seeds so four stars but....I put these in the fridge to stratify them and forgot they were in there for 2 months. 3 days after sowing I'm getting signs of life. Will update further when I'm able to.Update 6ish months later with picture: I have left them in the pot I originally planted them in and watered from the bottom up in a plastic container and they seem happy. I have started to get apurple colour in two of them now, which is better than the standard green colour the leaves usually take in the wild.I had success in germination by (doing this in summer, UK)1. Leaving the seed in the fridge for quite a few months. I forgot the packet was in my fridge for just over two months, I think the instructions that come with the delivery suggest a LOT less. I think longer is better. (Make sure you sow when it's hotting up if in UK, month of May minimum)2. leaving the seeds in properly saturated soil; soak the soil disks so they are completely expanded and the soil sopping, they take ages to completely expand, I did it slowly, then leave them to dry for 5 minutes out of the water you expanded them in. Then break up the soil and insert into the peat pots provided leaving the soil to dry over the period of maybe two hours. The peat pots will suck up excess water and dry the soil.3. Sow the seeds literally on top of the soil. I literally mean pour them out the packet ontop of the soil. Don't put more soil ontop of the seeds after you've poured the dust out, I didn't have to.4. Put the pots together in a large bag, I used a large sealed freezer bag and on a plastic tray. I left this away from direct sunlight and after they sprouted watered from the bottom up when the soil was dry and slowly introduced them to the sun. I'd suggest a larger sealed bag to prevent mould.5. Wait for them to sprout ๐ฑ
