Prior to buying this bottle I used plastic gallon jugs. My problem was that I would bang them around or be a little too rough placing them down and such, and would always end up breaking the bottle or puncturing it. I bought this to use as a daily water bottle and it's been GREAT! No matter how much I ding it, it doesn't even scratch the bottle.Pros:DurableSturdyKeeps my drinks cold even over night!Cons:None so far, if I come across any I'll update the review.Definitely recommend this. My work doesn't have a water dispenser and I drink water all day long, so I bought this to fill my water bottle all day. I really like that it has two openings, one larger to fill with water and/or ice and to clean, and the other to pour the water out of. It keeps water cold all day and the handle makes it easy to pour.

1st, please note that this water bottle is NOT insulated. Let's be clear on that. 2nd, I would've liked the handle to be a bit more ergonomic. The handle is flat and NOT round. Those two things aside, I love this water bottle. It's a true gallon and aside from the protective plastic housing/handle, the interior is 100% stainless. I've looked around and can't find a 1gallon stainless water bottle anywhere else. Could I find a 1/2gallon and pay less for 2? Sure, but my needs and wants are far outweighed by the sheer convenience of this thing. I work some pretty hard labor jobs and can go through a gallon of water pretty fast. I can't just stop what I'm doing and go find a 100% pure water source to fill up when I'm done with a half gallon. And I can't be weighed down by having two bottles on me at all times. Yes, it can warm up to room temperature fairly quickly if left in direct sunlight. It's a single walled stainless container with a black housing, EXPECT IT!!! As unsafe as this sounds, it doesn't feel awkward when trying to drink from it while driving.It doesn't block your vision, it doesn't splash all over your face and clothes when you take off suddenly or brake hard. The design of the bottle is actually quite comfortable to carry even though I would've liked a more ergonomic handle. It's easy to bring up to your face with one hand. I also like the fact that it's broken down into 3 pieces for fast filling/emptying/washing. Plus 2 rubber O-Rings that remove and reattach super easy for quick cleaning. I thought it was a bit pricey too when I first pulled the trigger on it. However, after using for long enough to write a decent review, I can safely say it beats carrying 2 water bottles and you can rest assured knowing that plastic isn't leeching into the liquids you're drinking from this. That alone is the most important factor for me. I'm only denoting this one star because of the non-insulation factor. Other than that, these guys were a KICKSTARTER project and I have faith that this won't be their one and only product and that any new products they come out with in the future will only surpass the quality of their previous products. Also, customer service has been a pleasure and they've been awesome to work with. I highly recommend this water bottle. Check out the pics for more details. I love this plastic alternative, a lot! I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend who always without fail carries a gallon of water wherever he goes. I always hated seeing that plastic jug, not only could it be a potential health hazard it is such a waste and one more piece of plastic to add to our pollution issues (yes, I recycle but even so that has an impact). We have tried other bottles, growlers and glass jugs, both heavy and awkward even more so when on the go. This jug isn't much heavier than a plastic jug, has a great handle and is stainless steel!!! I washed and filled it as soon as he opened it and he's been using it daily for the past couple weeks with no issue. At first I thought it was leaking, which made me want to cry but it was just a bit of water caught in the seams between the steel and plastic from washing that was seeping out. So far so good, this may be what everyone I know gets for Christmas next year!

I would give it a 4, but having seem the Original kickstarter, this is meh. The original was all stainless. This one has been streamlined for cheaper manufacturing. Original had a fill line. A FILL LINE. The handle SUCKS. Not to mention I got this so it wouldnt break. The plastic housing just is lacking. Not to mention everyone is asking why I am carrying a blender base at work.. That said, this is your only option for a ... hopefully durable.. water bottle. Though the plastic handle will totally break if you take it hiking... I mean one whack on the handle on a rock with 8 lbs of water.. but hey I'll 3d print a handle that works. But most users wont have that option.

To start I want to say that for the most part I do like this water bottle, it's nice having something to simply wash out rather than replace every week. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I was OK with it. The handle straight up sucks, wide and thin added to the fact that it's totally on the side of the water storage like a coffee mug makes it feel heavier than you'd think. I've gotten used to it now and isn't a big problem, the problem is however that for the price, it really shouldn't leak, mine does, and has since I got it. First week having it, noticed the leak and submitted a support request via Amazon's website. A week goes by with no reply... So looking through the reviews I find another review with "it costs too much to leak" where the seller replied offering an email address to contact for support. Went ahead and sent an email to that address which did get me a response saying they'd send me out a replacement that would "hopefully not have this problem", yeah they actually said that. Waited a month, haven't seen anything in the mail. Sent another email asking about it, that was a week ago and I've yet to receive a reply or a replacement. So my experience with both their product and customer support thus far has been very poor. I can't recommend it considering price and the problems.
