Close but no cigar.
The form factor is right on, but the buttons are fairly squishy, and not as responsive as the real thing. Games like "Super Mario World" are hard to play with this controller, since the button presses don't respond as quickly as a real SNES controller, and I feel like I miss time the jumps etc. Other games like "Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past" were fine though. I ended up replacing these pretty quickly with Logitech Gamepad F310 and all the problems I had with responsiveness went away. (This is being used on a Raspberry Pie 3b with Retropie)

Arrived quickly. The buttons feel authentic and for the raspberry pi recalbox everything just worked as intended.Very authentic feeling and kinda weighty for their size as well.It's worth noting that these controllers won't work for every PC game like you can expect an xbox controller to work. Cave Story+, Dustforce, Jotun, and La Mulana worked with this controller out of the box, while Spelunky, Slime-San, and Monoco: What's Yours is Mine did not. I presume a good mapper like joy2key would fix the games it doesn't work for, but at the moment game compatibility on PC is still pretty good.

You can't beat these controllers for the money.
The cable length at 5ft leaves a bit to be desired, but is not a big deal.The buttons are crisp, and don't feel squishy like some el-cheap-o controllers.My only real complaint is the gray circle around the buttons on the right is a decal, not gray colored plastic.

Just like the classic remotes
Just like the classic remotes. They are a little slow on response time. I might just be used to new systems that are lightning speed, but we occasionally have a slow response that causes us to die in the game.

I finally set these up with my raspberry pi 3 ...
I finally set these up with my raspberry pi 3 (on retro pi emulator) and they don't read, period. I plug in my iBUFFALO usb controller and it reads automatically. Unless I'm missing something on how to set these controls up, they don't work with the raspberry pi 3 board. Too late to return them now, of course!

Initially had an issue with one controller but seller worked with me to quickly resolve issue.Very happy with the controllers, using with a Raspberry Pi Retro Arcade.
