First of all, there are a lot of instructions and that’s fine. The problem is there’s some things that are left out like the height of the gimbal where the rod slides through. Also when I assembled this the collar and the rod fell apart which is a safety hazard. I returned it the same day for a refund I’ll look for something made in USA not Russian

I’d love to give it 5 stars, since the sharpener is fantastic. But one of the stones (600) has a defect and there is no way to get it replaced. I emailed and called multiple times. No response to the email and all the calls went straight to hold, until they were dropped. I never reached anyone to replace the bad stone. Other than the one bad stone and abysmal customer service, the rest of the kit is fantastic. Buy the kit, but assume that you’re on your own!

I have been in the lawn business and thought I could sharpen a blade pretty good. But this sharpener opened my eyes as to what a true sharp blade is. After resurfacing what I thought was a level blade on all of my knifes I found out what an amazing edge this sharpener can do. I am talking more than a razors edge. My pro tech knifes have never had an edge like this thing produced even from the factory. They now have a polished edge that glistens in light. I am extremely happy with the job this thing does. Yes its a little pricey but all of my kitchen knifes are so sharp my wife is scared to even open the drawer now. That is worth it to me! if you have the funds to buy this dont wait, you will be happy with it and the quality is precise. I almost gave it a 4 star though due to the instructions being lacking, but It was so worth a 5 star rating.
