It's cool
My son loves it and will play with it till destroyed, but it's low quality (same as Johnny Brocks) but you get what you pay for, it's way cheaper here.

Ok
I got this for my 7 year old. The helmet was too small for him. The leg and arm covers wouldn’t stay on with the pieces of plastic that was sent to snap them to stay. They were also a little small for him but even if they weren’t the plastic pieces still wouldn’t have stayed. I tried the leg covers on the arms and that proved to be true. He loves it all the same just wouldn’t recommend for any one above 5-6 and my son is athletic and average for his age.

Lots of attention to detail, nicely packaged
We took the kids to medieval times for my son‘s 8th birthday. I decided to purchase this dress up set as a birthday gift. It was a wonderful addition to the event. All of the accessories were the perfect fit for him.The shield, shin guards and gauntlet are easily adjustable. It came really nicely packaged. The ax, shield and sword have a lot of detail and look pretty realistic. The shield is bigger than I expected~ surpassed my expectations.Lightweight and comfortable to wear and use.He really likes the set~ it has complemented his toy collection nicely-Overall, very happy with this purchase!

Okay for play
Seems fairly durable. My son loves it although the sword is a little bendy. My complaints would be that shin guards and helmet don’t fit great. The leg guards have top and bottom straps; straps aren’t big enough to go around the calf so he has to wear them half attached (bottom straps only). Helmet Isn’t balanced, doesn’t sit on top of head, but slides back/forward. Still, he absolutely loved it and wouldn’t hear of sending it back!

Too small for an average 4 year old and very cheaply made
I was so excited for these as was my son when he opened it, but the bands they give you for the shin guards were to small for my newly 4 year old. The arm glove thing also has screws on the inside that scratch your hand- to the point of drawing blood. we glued a piece of felt on it but it’s extremely uncomfortable even with it on. The helmet also is too small. Doesn’t fit my 4 year old and barely sits right on my 2 year old. The tip of the ax broke after one bang. So the only thing we really use from this is the chest plate, shield, and the sword. Very cheaply made if you’re thinking it’ll be like the one you had as a kid!

My grandson loves this
The pieces appear well made and authentic.

Looks cool but the functionality is a little lacking.
** EDIT ** - The sword just broke from contact with another toy sword. So I guess that busts my review down even more.I think just about every boy, including myself, has at one point dreamed of donning a full set of armor for play in a fantasy world. What's cool about this set is that it includes both an axe and a sword, as well as a mighty looking gauntlet which was not something I'd seen before in older play armor sets. So the concept is good here but when my 8 year old wanted to put the armor on we found that the straps required to keep it in place we're way too small. The chest plate has a little bit more give but still not enough to get around both shoulders. But the gauntlets and shin guards have straps that could not possibly completely wrap around his wrist or ankles. the straps themselves are not attached to anything so they can easily fall off. The helmet is OK and the shield works, plus, the detail of the sword and axe are decent. Now, the easy thing to do is to remove the flimsy straps and create your own either through string or some fabric you can tie around it. but that's a more work than someone who's paying $40 for a toy set should have to do. But there are not many choices out there for armor sets so still if you're prepared for a little extra work, it may not be that bad. But keep expectations low.
