Super Plush Comfort for Your Pet
The MidWest Homes for Pets Deluxe Dog Bed has quickly become a favorite spot for my dog. The plushness of the bed is impressive, offering a cozy and inviting place for my pet to rest. I use it inside a 30-inch dog crate, and it fits perfectly, providing a snug and soft base that makes the crate more comfortable. One thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to clean. Being machine wash and dryer friendly is a game changer, especially for a pet bed. After a couple of washes, it still looks as good as new, maintaining its shape and softness. My dog seems to love the texture of the bed, often choosing it over other spots in the house. The gray color is also a nice touch, blending well with my home decor. The one-year warranty gives me peace of mind, knowing that the quality is backed up by the manufacturer. There’s very little to dislike about this bed. If anything, the only minor issue is that it could be a bit more supportive for older dogs or those with joint issues, but for general use, it’s fantastic. I value products that deliver on their promises without needing modifications. This dog bed is exactly that - a well-made, comfortable, and practical addition to our pet supplies. It’s definitely a worthy investment for any pet owner looking to add a bit of luxury to their pet’s crate.

Great buy for cat and dog!
I bought 2 of these beds; 18” for my cat and 36” for my dog. Here are my experiences: Cat (18”): My cat is a pretty small cat, so I’m a bit surprised this bed is a bit too small for him. (When he curls up, he fits pretty well, but it doesn’t give him extra room to stretch.) I purposely bought the small bed though because it was so inexpensive and my husband was convinced my cat wouldn’t use it (he doesn’t care for anything you buy for him, but if it’s free and garbage, he’ll obsess over it). To my surprise, my cat sleeps on this bed ALL THE TIME. He goes straight to it; we call it his charging pod. We joke that there must be a stash of catnip stuffed in the cushion somewhere because he has never cared for a bed before. Even when we move the bed to a different location, he will go right to it. We almost wish that we went a size bigger, but knowing our cat, that exra pampering would actually turn him off. So, if our cat is happy with the purchase, we are happy! Dog (36”): This bed fit perfectly in my dog’s crate, and my dog seems very comfortable on it. The only issue I have is that the bed seems to have sunken down where she likes to lay. She’s a small dog (~20lbs), so it’s a bit disappointing. Maybe when she comes in wet from the rain, the moisture flattens the bed because my cat’s bed has not flattened. I’m hoping it refluffs when I throw it in the wash. Overall, the fabric is a very soft texture and there seems to be enough padding that provides just enough comfort from the hardness of the floor. My dog seems to love it, but then again, she loves any type of comfort. Overall, it’s been a good (and super affordable!) buy for both pets. The main selling point for me is that it’s washable, but I still have to give that a try. Update: I have washed both beds in the washing machine and tossed them in the dryer to dry quite a few times since this review, and both beds have held up well!

Soft and durable bed
I volunteer at a shelter and the cats in our care love them! They are soft and don’t take up a lot of space in the kennels. (I ordered size small.) After multiple washings they are holding up nicely.

Nice Little Dog Bed
I've been buying cheap dog beds about every 6 months for a couple of years now - we have one dog who likes to use a bed, and one who doesn't really use them but loves to shred them as soon as we turn our backs. I bought one of these for each of them, and they've held up really well over the past few months. The covers are soft, the non-slip backing is nice, and Destroyer Dog has only chewed small holes in hers, where she normally would have annihilated hers beyond repair and moved onto her sister's by now. (I'm wondering if maybe she recognizes them as furniture since our couch covers are a really similar texture?) The padding isn't very thick, but it's comparable to what I've seen in other dog beds at this price point. I've machine-washed and tumble-dried these once so far, and they held up fine - there were no popped stitches, and the stuffing didn't shift around and clump up. What's surprised me is that they don't ever really get stinky - you have to get very close to them to get any of the dog smell, so I only needed to wash them because they started to look a little dirty. Dog- and Human-approved!

Perfect
She loved it right out of the box! And she is very picky. It's probably a little small for her, but it doesn't matter. She's been comfy for hours now. Nice quality. I love that it did not come shrink wrapped. Fluffy and no strange smells! Her last bed cost $100. (I was desperate 😳) You can't beat this quality at $12. I just ordered two more.

HARD to Wash/ Not Great For Puppies/Soft
This bed/pad is really soft, well-made, and comfortable. Not a good idea for puppies and other pets who are not house-trained yet. My puppy peed on it. Washing this thing was a chore. You have to have a non-agitating washing machine...don't have one, so it had to be washed by hand. Getting the water out was a pain, rolling and squeezing it to get most of the water out. It took three days to dry. Because the urine smell must have still been in there, she peed on it again. I had to throw it away. The cover needs to have a zipper, and the pad needs to be protected from liquids.
