This set is the Elder Futhark, or more commonly known as Norse Runes. These runes are powerful aids in divination, magic, and other practices, with each of the 24 runes included representing a force, concept, or power that can be invoked or used to explain the circumstances that you question. This is the original Elder Futhark Runes, which doesn't come with the blank rune. There is no historical support for a "Blank Rune" in runic divination. It was invented in the 1980's. It should not be used in a rune casting. Comes with a black flannel hand-sewn bag with wooden beads, each of the 24 runes is made of a rustic glazed porcelain block tile that has been hand painted with oil paint and coated with a clear coat to clearly depict each of the runes involved.
