Nice selection of popular classical music. Pretty easy.

Extremely irritating because it won't lay flat.
This large music book should have been made with three rings punched or with a spiral binding. It is impossible to lay flat at the piano to be able to read & play. I decided to take it apart and make it punched with thrree rings only to find out the pages are too large to fit into a 3 ring puncher and into a 3 ring notebook. Just a bit too tall! Very irritating. Does anyone have a solution of how to use??

Excellent selection of classics.
Perfect for someone returning to the piano during retirement who played as a child. Brought back many wonderful memories at a level I need at this stage. Slight issue - had to have book hole punched and put into a binder to enable it to stay open easily. Worth it.

Check the difficulty level of the book
I missed the difficulty of this book. I was searching for a book with more difficulty, but I must admit that it’s nice to be able to play without too much effort.

Very good book of classical collections
I purchased this book because my piano teacher wants me to start playing the classics. This has most of them. Most books do not have as much variety as this one.

Good for me.
Large selection of simplified well known (mainly) classical pieces. Obviously your enjoyment of this book will depend on your level of ability with reading music. Even an absolute novice would be able to get something from it and the better you are, the more you would be able to manage. The arrangements are mostly really pared down version's of the original ( zero, one, two or at most three sharps/flats ) - all are recognisable, but sometimes really "thin" - which is a result of keeping them simple enough for the less experienced player. I fell the book has helped me improve my limited reading skills. Quite satisfying to be able to produce a recognisable tune. I guess it would be a bit annoying if you are a really good reader. The print is clear - big and simple which helps me. Kind of inspires you to have a look for the real non-arranged versions.

Great selection but book itself a little unwieldy
There are many, many good pieces in this collection, of slightly varying standards, which is great as I can choose (I have six or seven favourites already, and am happy with them). The book is so enormous though that it folds shut when standing on my music stand, as I have no clips on my stand to hold the pages open. So I have cut the pages off the binding (sacrilege, I know, but I couldn't use it otherwise), have hole-punched them and put the entire book as single pages into a ring binder. That works well. But couldn't it have been ring bound in the first place?

Excellent collection of Classical Music in Simple Arrangements
This contains many classical favourites re-arranged to make them easier to play and teach Children. Also good for someone that has played Piano at one time but is trying to re-learn and re-discover how to play. My only complaint would be that because of the binding method, the spine makes the music difficult to sit flat against a piano but that is easy fixed by using black folder clips. A spiral bound book would be better for this many pages.
