Scuffs scratches on the paint, at first thought it was used? But I just think bad packing. Works good but!! Not sure if these are Hydraulic Disc Brake Calipers or some kind of hybrid. Hydraulic oil in the little round sealed reservoir, not sure maybe some one can answer this one ?

These are very well made and look great. They were easy to mount, and they work very well. Way better than the mechanical brakes they replaced. I have them on a large heavy e-bike with 180mm rotors.

I have put a lot of time into changing the brakes on my Magicycle and I am very disappointed in the performance of the new calipers. They are hard to adjust, the wrong parts were in the box and no instructions were included. I only wish I had installed them when I received them and not 3 months later. I cannot return them now. I have tried Juintech hydraulic calipers on another ebike and they are far superior, easier to install, and come with instructions.

Easy to install on the Himiway Cruiser. Levers have a firm feel now.Would say a 25-30% improvement in overall braking.On a side note, had to cut the steel brake cable to remove the old caliber’s.Be careful to make sure you do not have a strand un ravel, makes it a pain.Pretty much have to replace the cable once it starts to strand out.It would not allow the caliper to spring back and the Lever would not have tension on the stop.$7-8 for a new cable, but overall a good upgrade.

I added these a month ago and happy with how they are much quieter than my previous mechanical brakes. There is some better braking, but no more than 25% in my opinion, but a much smoother operation of braking! Glad I bought them!
