Gave the 2020 version but I am sure a lot had changed especially in light of Covid, masks, etc.

When buying a book titled FAR/AIM and seeing an airplane on the front cover, one would naturally expect it to be a guide book on anti-aircraft artillery usage. Nothing could be further from the truth!This is not a book on shooting down enemy aircraft, but rather all of the regulations and rules you need to know to FLY one legally here in the USA.For THAT purpose, this is a winner. It has all of the information you need regarding the regulations (FAR) as well as other useful information (AIM) related to flying all types of aircraft in the US Federal Airspace System. While it has an airplane on the cover, it has the regulations related to all manned aircraft as well as unmanned aircraft systems (drones), so if you're an aspiring gyroplane or helicopter pilot, this book is still what you need.Also, it is a better love story than Twilight.

Quality book with mandatory information for pilots.

This gives you a reference for the regulations all aspects for flight controlled by the FAA. Interestingly the section half of the book is used to train Air Traffic Controllers so you can get a good idea of how those who control flight across the nation happens every day.

I am currently working to get my PPL and this book was very helpful on getting my PPL and teaching me the rules and how to’s on aviation.

[2023] I compared a copies of the 2023 FAR/AIM between Gleim and ASA. The ASA version is much nicer and easier to read.Both books were very similar, and perfectly adequate. But the ASA printing uses better paper and sharper text.The Gleim paper is darker, almost like newsprint, and the ink is not quite as sharp. The ASA paper is much whiter, and the ink is sharper and darker.

I knew part 135 and another was missing as someone said in their review.The rest of the book seems alright.it is heavier than the last one I read in 1997
