Smashing. My kid loved it.

This is the second product my son has from monster go with the first being a 3x3 cube. He's absolutely cube mad and I thought this would be a nice addition to his collection as its different. Gave it to him for his birthday and I think it's the favourite one out of all the new ones he had. He has spent a good amount of time playing with it and making different shapes with it and taking it apart to make different patterns etc. We haven't managed to get it back to its original shape yet but he doesn't seem to mind at all.

As a beginner I thought I'd pay a bit extra for the GES version over the Lite version which doesn't come with the GES nuts. The thing is, I found it perfect straight out of the box and I haven't even looked near adjusting the cube in any way but at least the option is there. It's a great cube and a huge step up from my original Rubiks cube, a bit on the expensive side compared to other brands but I genuinely can't fault it, I'm more than happy with it.

These are great for beginning to learn how to manipulate a cube in the modern way, just using fingers and thumbs without turning the whole cube. Takes a while to get used to but worth it. These are not as robust as original Rubiks cube so practice over soft furnishings as dropping it could render it more likely to fall apart under speedy use.

This product is one that I tested for a rating, and I would say it's good for non competitive cubers, and ones that just want to solve it, if you are one that wants to get one for a pb, or to use against you friends, go for one with magnets

It was perfect to fiddle with from time to time and very easy to solve!

The cube is very loose, does not maintain alignment easily after a turn. Not as good as their 3x3x3.

Had all the parts, arrived in good time. A great price for a GAN cube.
