Total boat sealer/primer
Applied it to red oak. Easy to apply, but... A foam rolled left bubbles, so a day later my first coat was sanded. A second and third coat with a good brush layed a nice base coat for my Totalboat Gleam. Good stuff that I will use again...

Perfect
I recently used TotalBoat Wood Sealer on a wood project. I was pleased with the results. The sealer is a very thin varnish that goes on fast and easy. I followed the directions and it gave a great finish. I followed up with a few coats of TotalBoat Lust to produce the finish you see in the attached image. I recommend this product if you are looking for a varnish that goes on fast and easy and gives a great finish.

Great sealant. It's not clear it yellows
My use of this product is a little unconventional. I did a custom painting for cornhole boards and needed to find a sealant that would have you be protection. And while this sealant is amazing for protecting from the sun and water on the lawn it drastically altered the color of the White board. As seen in the photos it has a yellow brown tint.

Fast and simple prep coat
Excellent prep application for other Total Boat finishes such as Gleam. Eliminates (or reduces) the need for thinning the finish varnish. Fast dry time between coats.

Easy to use, time will tell
I have a beautiful wooden front door. It gets punished by the Louisiana sun, rain and weather. I have to refinished every couple of years. Big job! After I stained it, I applied a few coats of this wood sealer (followed instructions). Went on very easily and it has a finch, honey like hue to it. Of course I finished with Totalboat Gleam Spar. Looks great and water beads up. I plan to wax twice a year to extend it. Very happy with this product.

very good wood sealer
I used this product to seal a wooden accessory for my kayak. It worked exactly as expected. Successive coats can be applied per directions. As with any VOC coating there will be off-gassing as it cures to the final condition. This will take days depending upon the humidity. This is due to the fact that it is not a water-based product - and for good reason. I highly recommend this product as have built four wooden boats.
