Trying to be more environmentally conscious (and cut down on trash) so we went for these stainless steel plates and bowls.Hot things do heat up the steel (shocking, I know) but only pretty much right underneath the food. I made oatmeal and could still easily grasp the edges of the bowl with no heat issues. As you can see from product dimensions, these are small bowls and plates. If you're used to big American diner-style plates, the size may shock you! But it's perfect for a camp meal.

The description reads there are a pair of gloves, the video shows this as well. There are no gloves in our set. Disappointing. Otherwise, all the items are of good quality and pack up into a very handy and easy to manage case.
