The charging port on this laptop is very tight, I seriously thought my product was dead on arrival, there was no charge light after plugging it in. I took the battery out to do a soft reset as instructed by Amazon tutorial, did not work. I called Predator support line he said to make sure I pushed it all the way until I heard a snap, I had previously read the Manual which said this and I thought that I had. It's very tight just make sure you push it in firmly.It's a great laptop though performs well, beautiful screen, can get alittle warm just make sure you don't cover the vents on the bottom, sitting on your lap can cover those vents quite a bit so I've purchased a separate cooling pad which keeps that gap to breath.The fans are very loud when turbo mode is activated

Light weight, gets too hot for lap use while gaming. Battery lasts about an hour for regular desk job style work with screen on full brightness. Got 4 hours of use with lowest brightness.On the darkest settings the bottom of the screen shows some distortion (brighter areas) from the pressure of its mount to the main body.Runs my games great!Speakers are quiet, fans are loud, recommend headphones for best sound.

Used to have an Acer V15 Nitro BE, which I loved, but it got stolen... As much as I enjoyed that one, it would consistently heat to 90 degrees and often shut off from the heating problem even with the "Coolboost" activated. The "Turbo" fan option in this one is actually legit, although it is pretty loud, but if you are playing with headphones on or just dont mind the sound, its no big deal. Very hard to find an affordable, performance laptop that can maintain a proper temp without cooling pads or whatnot. I would probably give this 4.5 stars if I could just because its loud (on the turbo setting only, which is optional although recommended), but otherwise Acer did really well with this machine.

Product dead on arrival. No charge light when charging in and nonfunctional. Support wanted me to ship it for repairs. I'm not repairing a 1900$ brand new computer. Absolutely ridiculous. Requested refund and ups is picking it up to take it back.
