Without any knowledge of Indian food, I was looking for Achaar (sp) served in restaurants here. This is exactly what I wanted. Takes a minute to arrive and yes, it leaked some, but the seller does everything they can to keep it contained and it works. Just be careful taking it out of the box and you'll be fine. Product is still fresh and unopened, but some oils leak. Will order again. Best salty, bitter, aromatic condiment for rich foods. Once you've had it, nothing compares!

It compares very well to the stuff served in all the indian restaurants in TN. I have no idea about how it compares to proper/true authentic Indian. But, It has all of that full-of-flavor, nearly kerosene, "I don't think I can taste anything else for an hour" sort of amazingness. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious.

I love lime / mixed pickles for soups, stews, all kinds of green vegetables. This is an excellent brand and one of my favorites.

1 The box says "store promotion only" 2 it has unhealthy amount of sodium. I couldn't eat it with any thing because it felt like eating a teaspoon of salt with each bite.
