Author is amazing!
This cookbook author has the surprisingly rare habit of actually testing the recipes she puts in her books. I am dismayed by how frequently one can carefully follow a recipe and end up with a mediocre meal. My wife is in the food business and explained to me that, in order to flesh out a cookbook, many authors will include recipes without bothering to sample those recipes first - how lame is that!? Well, not Ms Phillips! This is my third recipe book of hers and virtually every recipe I have made under her guidance is a keeper. She includes a wide spectrum of cuisines in each book, dishes from around the world so everyone can discover treasured memories and new experiences between the covers of her work. Her directions are clear and concise and the outcome is near guaranteed to please. IIf you have either a pressure cooker or a crockpot, let me recommend her cookbooks for those devices as well. You will not go wrong following her directions.

Can't Even Wait!
I never do this, but after reading a number of recipes in this book, and having ordered it, I am giving it five stars anyway. For years all I ever cooked in the rotisserie was a whole chicken, then after a drastic change in circumstances, I dragged the machine out of storage because I was bored and frustrated with the kitchen situation, and began doing some research. I had to remedy my rotisserie ignorance: pork chops done to 200 degrees and that resembled boards, chicken teriyaki thighs almost black . . . then I ran across this book with its mouth-watering recipes and great variety, and I can't wait for it to arrive. In the meantime, some dishes I made were quite edible, and I am having a blast with my veteran Ronco rotisserie. The book will make it better!

A very helpful book.......Rotisserie only
I recently bought a Hamilton Beach toaster convection rotisserie oven model 31197R (which I have reviewed here on Amazon) and though I like the oven there are very few recipies that come with it so I have been forced to either use the cooking times that I use with my NuWave Oven Pro or look online for rotisserie recipies/cooking times.....................Now about this book.First off this book uses for the most part the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Grill for its cooking times and recipies. I had considered buying a Ronco Rotisserie but it is limited to just that being a rotisserie grill where as the Hamilton Beach you can bake, broil, rotisserie, toast and (supposed to) steam.That aside it will be easy to apply the cooking times and recipies to my Hamilton Beach, this book is packed full of recipies (300 of them) for you to rotisserie and sauces for your rotisserie meals such as how to make a honey glaze suace for your rotisseried ham (yummy, yummy).Having this book is a must (in my opinion) if you like to rotisserie a lot and feel that it is well worth the price. The book is an easy read the instructions are concise and simple.

Not Kindle friendly
This book has some good recipes and I would rate them 5 stars. But, it's really a pain in the (um, well you know) to find a recipe with the Kindle. It should be fixed so that you can type a word or phrase in and it will take you to the recipe(s) that match the description. Or let you click on a particular title from the table of contents. The way this is set up you have to go to table of contents and guess what category your recipe may be in and then go to that to find the page # for the one you want. And if you happened to have changed your font size (yeah I did cus I'm old and half blind :) ) then the page thing doesn't work out well.

One of the BEST cookbooks out there!
I love cookbooks, so when I say this is one of the best, it is one of the best. I got the book expecting to just get a few ideas on how to use my new rotisserie, but when I started turning the pages, I was in love! I would recommend this book to anyone! The token rotisserie meat recipes are there, but there are also a lot of vegetable and fruit recipes for the rotisserie, as well. However, the best part of the book by far is the section on sauces, marinades, and rubs. It is worth a book in and of itself and can be used on any meat, not just rotisserie meat. I usually take away a star if there are no pictures, but the recipes are so great, I HAVE to give it 5 stars!

Love this book
Love this book. Altho it doesn't have any pictures, every recipe in it is made for the Ronco Rotisserie. Very easy to follow directions for each recipe. Includes recipes for sauces, marinades, & rubs as well that are used in the different recipes in the book. I prefer this book over the Ron Popeil book that I also purchased, but they will work well together. I've had my rotisserie for 8 years and just found these books. Wish I had known about them years ago!

Saved me some money
I haven't used the recipes from this book yet BUT I am impressed with two great tips from the book. First one is the statement about the non electronic Ronco rotisserie's timers being inaccurate so it's a good idea to use some other timer so you don't overcook. The second great tip was how to use the kabob rods to cook the ribs. The kabob rods at Ronco's website will cost you around $27 with shipping included and then you pay more money if you want the rib accessory kit too so the instructions in the book helped me save money by not having to buy the rib kit as well.

Scrumptious Turkey!
I got my George Forman Jr. rotisserie a couple of weeks before Christmas. After trying a chicken without a cookbook, I decided I needed a little help.This is the most comprehensive rotisserie cookbook I found. After reading the cookbook, I decided to give the holiday turkey recipe with bacon a try for Christmas dinner. The turkey was wonderfully moist and golden brown. While tying bacon to the turkey wasn't exactly easy, it was worth the effort. I got compliments all around on the wonderful taste. Next time I'll use the elastic bands.If the rest of the recipes are half as good as the holiday turkey recipe, I will consider my money well spent on this cookbook.

NO TEMPERATURE SPECIFIED FOR ANYTHING!
Apologies. TIME SPECIFIED. NO TEMPERATURE SPECIFIED!!!!!!Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I bought a new oven with a rotisserie . got a kindle version of this cook book. What a waste. Recipes look great. BUT! dear writer IF YOU DO NOT TELL ME THE TIME OR TEMPERATURE How do I even experiment????? DO NOT BUY!

Really solid cookbook. If you are looking for a fancy cookbook full of tasty looking colour photos, this is not the book for you. What this book lacks in flash is made up for with a solid content of recipes and tips to really get the benefits of your Rotisserie oven. Well worth the price.
