Great for hatchbacks.
Great rack for my vw gti hatchback. Has a good quality build, and can fit two bikes easily. I had to reverse two or three of the straps so they would actually lock when tightened--otherwise perfect! :)

Very pleased
This rack is perfect for cruiser bikes. Hold 2 bikes securely. Although I was told it would not work on vans or SUV's with an air deflector, I purchased one to try it out. It DOES work with an air deflector! I'm VERY pleased with this product.

Utterly horrible
Total crap. Didn’t make it for one trip and it wound up destroying my bike tires and messed up my trunk latch. Do not buy.

Make sure the bottom of the rack is sitting on the bumper of a sedan or an SUV
Seems to be very sturdy overall but the instructions were awful and the strap locking mechanisms don't look like they will last too many trips

sent it back the way it attaches to the car would damage the car paint I need be an engineer to try and even with the fit the car
