Very easy to assemble; sturdy, but not heavy; good looking!

While probably not necessary, I decided to add a bit of wood glue to bottom dowels and top hanger piece. It was easy to assemble, and gets very sturdy once put together tightly with the supplied materials and tighten up the hardware. The separate tiers are great for separating out different items and are part of what makes it more rigid and strong. Room underneath to put shoes. Good quality and nice finish on the wood (I got walnut stain). Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend if interested in something like this.

It's lovely and helpful for my husband's habit of leaving pants everywhere in our bedroom. It's easy to put together by oneself. It is, however, a bit wobbly. I wouldn't lean all my weight on it, but it easily holds at least 4-6 pairs of canvas/jeans with belts. It's a great product for the purpose I bought it for, but it's not the absolute sturdy old fashioned pieces that are made of solid wood and cost your first born.

There’s some risk in buying furniture in kit form, especially if there are a lot of pieces, but this assembly went smoothly for me. The only instructions are a single-page exploded view, but if you start at the bottom as they say, assembly is pretty straightforward and obvious. Parts are well-machined; all the holes lined up. Another reviewer complained that four small included screws aren’t shown on the diagram. This is true, but by deduction you can tell these self-threading wood screws go in the four holes in the bottom of the base pieces, where they screw directly into the two wooden connecting rods after you’ve glued and inserted them. This attaches the rods more securely than with glue alone. Assembled stand is suitably sturdy, looks decent. The price is too high, but that’s true of everything now.

I put out my clothes the night before as I get up before everyone else and try not to blast anyone with the lights. This valet is just the right size for pants, shirt and a light jacket with space for shoes underneath. It's tall enough that everything is off the ground. In hindsight, a shelf might have been nice for watch or jewelry, but I didn't want another surface to dust. It's sturdy and stable. Happy with the purchase.

This personal valet was very easy to assemble in about 10 minutes. It's the right amount of sturdiness at 6 lb. It won't blow over if it's near the window and it's not heavy like a rock to pick up. The section for the pants is separate than the section for the shirt /jacket and I like that feature. Works great and exactly what I was looking for.

The product looks okay assembled, but this product takes the cake for laziness of instructions. See that picture of a paper? Yeah that’s the entire instructions. And none of the pieces are labeled, plus there were four mini screws inexplicably included? I’ve assembled plenty of furniture in the past so this only took about 15 minutes and you only need a Phillip’s screwdriver, but really? Couldn’t they have put Step 1, Step 2 etc? The bottom is really what concerns me, as the dowels are only held in with wood glue and this is the base, which should be the sturdiest part. Depends on how it holds I might power screw in some simple extra screws to make it sturdier, but for this price I should need to do that. Combo of wood and metal, pretty seamless blend of color from one to the other. I suppose my low rating is in part because improving the assembly and adding a minimum of pieces would’ve been so easy - it’s annoying to see something so simple left out.

Just what we were looking for

A great addition to my closet area for hanging clothes that have been worn once, and will be worn again before washing. The only flaw is that the top bar is supposed to be glued on, but once it’s glued, it’s no longer possible to disassemble or even tighten the lower supports. I have no idea why these seem to be marketed exclusively to men, works great for me!
