Easter Panned Marshmallow Eggs (1 Lb - 16 Oz)

We live in Hawaii and haven't been able to find these "hen eggs," as they used to be called in the "olden days!" for at least 25 years. Amazon to the rescue! We bought three pounds which arrived ten days ago; I sit here lusting after the last two eggs! I would have preferred the larger size (it's so delish to eat the colored candy from around the dense and delicious "smashmallow" and then eat that big hunk of white heaven all by itself - nothing compares!) However, for some strange reason only understood by those "who make the rules," the shipping to Hawaii for that size is close to $24.00 per pound! I'm almost tempted...Easter just hasn't been the same without this unbelievably good candy; a basket full of M&M's and Snicker's brand 'stuff' disguised as Easter fare just doesn't even begin to measure up in tastiness and heavenliness to this REAL Easter treat. There isn't any other candy that makes me feel like I have a genuine Easter basket like these marshmallow eggs do.

These are better than Brach's and the colors are richer. I ordered these in 2018 and I liked them. I ordered several March 1st of this year and they are great. Only I paid 4.95 each package and I looked today March 14th, 2019 and the cost is 10.95 each package. Seems like price gouging to me. Still they are a good product. This price is still better than the price of two 7 oz bags of Brach's marshmallow eggs on Amazon for 14.99 plus shipping. And IMPO these eggs are better. SQ

Some seemed stale, to many of one color, the hard candy coating was uneven with white areas showing through in places... flavors were good if someone told me they were last years stock I could understand better to what I was tasting. Thank goodness my shipping packaging was still sealed, cause the candy package broke open I also recieved 3times as many purple as any other color.

I'd read some reviews by people who complained that theirs were hard, or stale. Mine taste nice and fresh, though. Nice bright colors, and tastes just like I remember from when I was a kid. I put one in my mouth, and it was like being 16, all over again.

These were very pretty, but were very hard and stale. They required a hammer to break open for any hope of eating them, but were so stale that any flavor they might have had was long gone. I was very disappointed since they are a nostalgia item from my childhood that I wanted to share with the grandkids. These must have been sitting open to air since last year to achieve that kind of adamantine hardness. Do not waste your money.

I did not care for the blue color or flavor of eggs wish you would have had green with the lime flavor... cherry flavor

The flavor is exceptionally bright and fresh. Wonderful.Some are noticeably harder than others - much less appetizing.But the flavor is absolutely nonpareil.

The candy is so Good, I love it....and what surprise me is that the candy Taste better then the brand name i usually buy from, this candy has a old fashion taste to it. it actually taste like it was made with love. not often you such a product, TRY IT!IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD
