They designed the product to have a very mild increase insize for sugness but kept it where it could be cut down some. I had to almost cut mine in half to get the deisred fit but with a little force it went right in. So don't worry about the exact height, it can be cut down to exact size. This would be great for drive way conversations to pavement. Plan on ordering 3 more on that project coming up.

For some reason our plumbing contractor couldn't find this deep size at plumbing supply shops. He was about to special order at a high price. I said wait, I'll check amazon. These are working great.

Even though I cut half of the bottom off, still works to raise the drain above ground level. It is a tight fit, so a little lube is required.

Had French drains put in, one drain was 6 inches below the surface. So I ordered this riser, measured the length I needed, and used a multi-tool to cut it down to the proper height. Filled in the area around it with dirt and now two months later and multiple storms and it works exactly as I wanted it to.Fit perfectly into the catch basin, then just put the grate right into the top of this one.

It worked well. I was able to cut it down no problem. There was no holes for the screws that hold down the grate that comes with the original 9" catch basin. I don't know why. A riser is just an extension of the original to bring it up to grade, so it seems there should be holes for the screws to hold the grate down. I drilled new holes on an angle because the lip of the riser isn't wide enough to drill straight down. An unusual feature.

It gave me the extra height. I need it to complete my drainage system.

Fit perfectly. I trimmed one inch off of mine, easily. Only complaint was that I whish the company had pre-drilled the two srew holes on the top to accept the lid. There is not enough room along the edge to drill your own holes. Mine did not line up perfectly and the screws ended up a hair off from the mark and took the path of less resistance, medial to the holes and slightly expanded the box opening. Still fits tight but I would have given it 5 stars if they had been pre- drilled.

The boxes and extension box do not fit together with out major labor to do so. The connection for the pipe to the nds boxes will not stay connected even with primer, glue, tape .
