When I bought caffeine powder, it was the most bitter stuff I'd ever tasted, which explained the massive amounts of sugar thats thrown into energy drinks. However, I found Avitae, which not only disgusted people concerned with my caffeine habit, that even my water is caffeinated (MWA HA HA!), but was also mind-blowing, as I can hardly taste the caffeine at all. After caffeine powder, I know the taste of caffeine, and am sensitive to it, so I can taste hints of it if the bottle is warm, but I don't mind it. Honestly, if the bottle is cold, its super refreshing, and I get a nice hit of caffeine. For perspective of how much caffeine this is, a 8 oz can of Red Bull is 80mg of caffeine, whereas a 12 oz cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee is 100mg. Energy drinks like Rockstar or Monster generally have 16 oz that equal about 160mg, so that gives you a sense of the kind of kick while you're drinking what tastes like fancy water. I appreciate that I can get my caffeine without all the chemicals with the portability of being a bottle of water. It is extremely rare to have an energy drink that comes in a clear plastic bottle (which is about the only thing I can take to work because of the metal detectors), and this is my go-to work boost, as we don't really have a convenient coffee machine.

I loved this water when I first found it in Safeway. It had no taste and was just the right amount of caffeine. Im not sure what changed but now there's a terrible taste when drinking it. Did they change something? The plastic bottle? Not sure but unless they go back to how they first made this I will not be ordering from here or purchasing from Safeway again!

I found this water to have a bitter flavor. For me it did not taste "just like water." It did give a definite boost, similar to a cup of coffee. Its also not inexpensive. However, they did ship it to us in hawaii. I paid for a case of it, and did not get anything for free as many of the others who have reviewed this product.

I never write reviews. However, after using Avitae for months I felt the need to tell others about my experience. For the past 20 years, I had a routine of a bottle of water and two cups of coffee before heading off to work. It was fine, and I am ok with the taste of coffee, but it did require multiple iterations of coffee making (eventually a Keurig would reduce the time to 5 minutes, it was still 5 minutes). In a busy house with 4 kids, it was important for me to get my pick me up AND get out the door quickly.I was introduced to Avitae about a year ago based upon a friend's recommendation. I have only ever had the unflavored version and have found it indistinguishable from water. I started to have a 90mg around 2pm during the weekday and found that it was hydrating AND effective. A few weeks later, I replaced my morning ritual with a 125mg, forgoing the 2 coffees and a bottle of water. I was killing two birds with one stone. The best part is that there is no time commitment and it works. I found that after using the 125mg unflavored in the mornings would cover me for the day.I'm all in on Avitae and now have a case of the 125mg on subscription via Amazon. My recommendation is to give it a shot and I know you'll have the same takeaway.

*edited to add. A rep reached out to me about my concerns and sent me a full replacement of the amount I ordered. I have only opened one so far but it is back to its original taste as promised. I appreciate the personal touch of reaching out. Unless I come across another "skunked" batch again I will consider myself a satisfied customer. Thanks again for reaching out.I loved the first case of this that I ordered. I went on to subscribe for it and the multiple of orders I have gotten since tasted musty and awful. even mixed with other things. I even tried boiling the taste out. I emailed the company and never got a response. Now I have a bunch of cases of bad tasting water sitting around my house. I cancelled our subscription obviously. Reading other reviews it seems the musty taste unfortunately happens more often than not. On to try the next I suppose!

Avitae 125mg water is a great way to eliminate soda from your diet, providing a good dose of caffeine without sugar or chemicals. It does have a slight flavor, which I hadn't found in other energy waters. More importantly, I stopped my monthly purchase when I received a case of water that all smelled so strongly it was undrinkable. At this point I'm looking for an alternative.

I've always struggled with finding a drink to give me that added energy throughout the day because I refuse to drink coffee unless it's 75% creamer and sugar. I tried this product because of a friend's reccomendation and I'm so relieved that I can finally get that needed caffeine from a drink I truly enjoy! I drink one 125mg bottle a day around 10 am and it keeps me feeling alert and awake for hours. I have tried a few of the different flavors such as sparkling raspberry lime, blackberry, and one of my favorites being pomegranate acai. I like to switch it up but this one is fantastic if you want something practically identical to water while receiving caffeine and hydration and skipping the carbonation. I feel great knowing I'm not drinking a product full of sugar and artificial flavors and colors.I can't imagine switching to any other caffeine product when I've found one that's satisfying in taste and gives me loads of energy. If you haven't had avitae yet I would definitely recommend giving it a try, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!

I was a Water Joe caffeinated water drinker till I heard about Avitae which has more caffeine than Water Joe. I've loved Avitae and have been ordering it for a long time. However, I recently received an order where all the water had a very unpleasant taste. I even tried adding a flavor to mask the awful taste of the water but it didn't help. Because I was hoping it was a fluke I ordered again. Same thing. I am so disappointed! As much as I love the idea of 125 mg of caffeine, I'll be switching back to Water Joe.
