Sometimes kids can be a little much when trying to make new friends and this book is a perfect way to talk about that - it also is helpful when trying to encourage kids to be themselves. There are friends out there for everyone. Sometimes it takes a little time

I'm a daycare teacher and I read this to my class all the time because I was cracking up! The kids love it too! I have a son who I read it too but it's my book!

This was in even better condition then I believe it said. It's like new! My kids favorite book, we could only keep it on loan from the library for so long and I buying it new seemed insanely expensive - this was a great alternative and 1/3 the list price!

We LOVE this book! A family favorite. Sweet story about unlikely friends who find each other when they just be themselves and take a risk. It's funny, engaging, terrific illustrations. All my boys enjoy it and I don't mind reading it to them over and over and over...

This is a fun read about making friends. The story and illustrations are well-crafted. They present an important message in a light-hearted, funny way.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. First off, we have three other Peter Brown books and love them all. The illustrations are so cute, and the story is quite fun. He hand writes the word bubbles, which adds a really nice touch. And another kind of silly added bonus is that the pages are very thick, which means when my 11 month old son turns the pages they don't rip if he is a tiny bit rough. Definitely recommend.

Granddaughter loves this story book. She loves the pictures, the story and loves it when we read it together.

Recommended to me but truly awful book. Didn’t hold the kids attention at all

We gave this book to our older daughter when I gave birth to her little sister. She still loves it several years later. This is a heartwarming story about finding friendship and not judging people before you get to know them.

Not so good as the previous book Children Make Terrible Pets! but my daughter enjoyed as well. Anyway, I recommend it.

This was bought as part of an English teaching programme for a 6 year old and was a bit disappointing.
