Brad, comprised of members, Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam), Regan Hagar (Satchel), Shawn Smith (Pigeonhed, Satchel), and Jeremy Toback, had been playing together for years before formally forming as a band in 1992. Recorded in roughly 20 days, Shame was the debut album from Seattle band, Brad. Mixed by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, The Fray), the album featured a raw sound and an eclectic mix of styles that reflect the personalities of the band members. Originally released on Epic Records, this 2013 remastered re-release also features the hit 20th Century. The original charted on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart in 1993. Kerrang! named Shame one of the 100 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die in 1998, and Raw named it to the 90 Essential Albums of the 90s.

Groovy and Smooth....
Need a great album to play in the background during an nice evening with the SO, or maybe a really chill and fresh calgon-take-me-away jam to groove to... Brad is the way to go. Not rock and not pop, this original sounding groove-jam is a nice eclectic piece to have in your collection.

Sherlock liked it, he really liked it
"Screen" is the closing song on TV's " Elementary: Season 1 " episode "Flight Risk" (2012 season, 6th show, CBS). I would have picked "Buttercup" as more dirge-like, but Screen was very effective.

Rerelease?
This was a good album, 20 years ago. It's unclear why it's now listed as a 2013 release. Remastered? I dunno, doesn't say. Amazon doesn't explain, Wikipedia doesn't explain. But yeah, it was a good album.
