Cashmere Wrap Shawl Stole 4-ply Travel Wrap Black Woven

I was looking for a wrap to bring on a trip to Hawaii. This was perfect for the cool, breezy nights there. In addition, I ended up using it for added comfort and warmth on the 10 hour red eye flight back. Added bonus - excellent price for the quality of a product you would purchase at a high end store. Definitely recommend.

There are a lot of pretty 2-ply wool or cashmere (or synthetic) thin scarves that are in the same size range (about 39x75 inches). But if you really want to keep the chill off, this is the warmest I've ever seen and felt. It's very soft,it's 4-ply, and weighs about 11.75 ounces. It's attractive and substantial. If you want a floaty, translucent wrap, look elsewhere.There's a place for light-weight shawls -- I have a few of them. But I bought this to take on airplanes, where the temperatures can be really chilly. It's also great for where I live; an 80-degree afternoon can fade into a 50-degree evening.

Wonderful wrap and a great value! I've owned several black cashmere wraps and was heartbroken over leaving a considerably more expensive one on an airplane recently. I ordered this one, received the next day, and was very pleasantly surprised. I detest pilling and itchiness. This gorgeous yet functional wrap has neither. Buy it!

Fantastic product! Thick, soft, yet light. Not itchy and no odor. I look forward to snuggling with this as a travel blanket on upcoming long international flights.

This is just what I was looking for! Going to Hawaii and it gets cold at night. Perfect thickness, so soft and very well made. Wish this came in several colors. I would definitely order more. I'm also going to use it on the airplane, will fit nicely in my carry on.

This did not have the feel I was expecting. I have a few other cashmere shawls, all of which are more like a fluid knit. This seems more like a felt blanket. It is soft and surely very warm, but it was not what I was looking for. It did not remind me of other cashmere I've encountered.

I have the hot pink from here and it is beautiful. This is the same ply, but this one catches every dog hair out there! The other doesn't seem to do that. It could simply be because this is black; I don't know.However, the quality is very good. I would recommend buying from this company, obviously since I have two of these, but maybe not the black unless you have no dogs or cats or kids. :)
