This was a great value. I replaced this along with some other needed parts to restore the functionality of my ice maker to dispense crushed and whole ice again. The unit was an exact equivalent to the original part at less than half the cost of one from a manufacturers source.

Not terribly easy to reassemble!
Very east to remove old broken housing but not that easy to reassemble new housing. Watch you tube videos closely for assembly of new housing. Pay special attention to how spring attaches on door lever rod screwed to ice bucket as well as how crusher blades should sit inside the housing. Probably need two sets of hands for reassembly of housing to front of bucket. I have decided not to user ice crusher as often in future to prevent destroying another housing which should probably be made of a stronger material than the plastic which was used. Cheaper than Frigidaire OE housing but who knows how long it will last?
