Battery is really good and sound is brilliant

It's not the best, it's not the cheapest but it's mostly the best product you have at this price. Mind you, I do use a Sony Smartphone with them, so that might have an impact on the sound quality I am experiencing.

Excellent value for the money + positive surprise: survived a wash machine and dryer cycle without any degradation of its functionality (that made me write this review). It's still perfect. Good battery time too.

Sony have clearly changed the software and manufacturer of this model. These headphones used to be top class a few years ago (ive had three of the old model but lose them all the time). Sony have definately cut corners in the new batches. No longer do we get the American Sounding lady when you boot them up telling you the battery percentage, instead we get a garbled east asian accented lady who no longer does this and when the battery runs low will not stop telling you every 5 seconds until they cut out. The hardware is now sub par: battery life is much shorter, they no longer tun off when plugged into power, the sound quality is reduced, connectivity to Bluetooth inconsistent, microphone quality is terrible and often does t work with computers. Such a shame they decided to destroy a once great model. You can sometimes find the original ones second hand on Ebay like a holy relic. I'll keep looking until they revert back to the previous manufacturing process.
