Fixer Upper Iron Shelf Brackets for Shiplap or Barnwood Shelves and Walls (6"L x 6"H) 4 Pack

These are definitely "industrial." They come unfinished, I don't recall reading that in the description, so you can paint them any color you want. It appears someone is getting some scrap metal and drilling a couple holes. You might need a file handy to knock off some burrs where the pieces were cut.Basically, they are good solid and heavy shelf brackets and they will look good once you put some work in to it, but seems pretty expensive for something you still have work on. Maybe I'm just being unrealistic

We received the brackets and they are not at all as pictured. In the listing the brackets appear to be bronze/black and also has a lip on the edge for the shelf to sit on. The brackets we received are silver, has no lip, and also looks like scrap metal. And they put the name "Fixer Upper" to somehow be associated with the tv show, but I know for sure that Chip and Joanna Gaines would NOT approve. Very disappointed.

These things are really dirty with rusk and dust and whatnot. It could make your wall a mess if you have nice walls. And, I'ts just not worth the money. I'm sending it back. I thought it would be more for indoor home use. These things might be best outdoors. Or, used in a pantrty, or some sort of utility room that isn't too vancy - like a garage. Yes, I would use these in a garage, but that's it. Not going use this in my office... Nooooo.

Looking at the there photos shown of the product and the color stating "rustic metal" i believed that these wee rod iron black.. They are NOT! they are stainless steel coloring with raw edges that are chipped away with bright silver showing where they were bent and cut.. looks like a welder/mechanic scrap!!

Regular sized screws just slipped through the holes on these but we added washers and they were fine. I may go back and paint the washers and screws black to match after more of the house is done.As for the sturdiness of them, I have no worries at all. These shelf hangers are not moving. I love the rustic look to them.

In no way are these true to size. The do not fit a 2x10. The brackets allowed for 9 1/16” shelf, not 9 1/4”. I specifically ordered these due to the specifications saying they fit a 2x10”. Lesson learned.

These would have been great if they actually fit the size shelf they say they do. My shelf is exactly 9 1/4". The product description SAYS it fits that exact size shelf, but that is not true. I would have to rip my board to make it work. It is too short. Completely disappointing.

These guys are a little pricey of a buy but they look so nice on my farmhouse looking shelves. If you want rustic, unfinished brackets that will hold really heavy shelves, these are a great buy. I did have to buy my own screws as well but I just went to home depot to fit them.
